Hi runner07,The most likely cause is that there's a characteristic or two about your house that your neighbors have (or Zillow is unaware they have). Here's a video describing how our Zestimates are calculated.Maybe that will help explain a little. Kristin
Hi smugdog,I am assuming you have tried searching for Recently Sold homes on Zillow. The list we have includes all the transaction data we have available. Depending on the county, there is sometimes a delay in how long it takes for us to get the info on the sales.Smetimes, you can find sales data on your county assessor site, but it's often not searchable in the way it sounds like you want. Local real estate agents have access to pending as well as completed sales for homes in their MLSes too, but that's not publicly availble either. Good luck,Kristin
Hi crouchde,It looks like someone has already updated the home facts for the home at 2969 Mother Well Court (what a great street name, by the way) to what you say. Usually it takes us a couple of days to publish revised Zestimates based on new home facts. Maybe I'm missing your question though. Please reply if so.Kristin
Hi Kim,There is a protest process possible with the tax assessor's office in most municipalities. I'd suggest you contact them directly and see what they say. Good luck,Kristin
Hi ebreen,I assume you have tried searching for the home by address in the box which appears after you click the Homes tab? If we no longer have an estimate for your home, it could be that we don't have enough data on homes nearby to come up with one we have any confidence in. When we have enough sales data in the area, we'll show a Zestimate on your home again. Hope that helps.Kristin
Hi Margaret,We removed one recently and hired a local arborist to do this. The arborist will also be able to tell you if you need a permit to do so. Some towns require permits for tree removal if they're over a certain size.Hope that helps.Kristin
Hi zoeyk,No you can't right now. We decided not to implement that because adding that matrix of combinations of home types & number of bedrooms across all the regions we have (ZIP, neighborhood, city, metro, county, state, and national) would have turned the mountain of data we generate twice a month into a Himalayan-sized mountain range of data. So we opted for the one-at-a-time approach to make the data a little more reasonable for us to create & manage. Some day we may add it, but it's not in the works for now.I hope the rest of the data is helpful & interesting to you.Kristin
Hi abbasii,We don't currently have a way via the API to look up an address by MLS PIN. I'm trying to understand your request, why would you want to use Zillow to look this up? Do you want to retrieve the Zestimate or something else in addition to the address? Thanks,Kristin
I use to have a zillow all star ribbon. What happened to it?
