We're going to keep the mystery about what goes into becoming an All-Star. Some people have so much fun gaming the system...
If you hover over your name, you'll see your blue ribbon in the "bubble" no matter where you are on the site. We didn't show the blue ribbon everywhere your name appears. Sometimes it just made the page cluttered and difficult to read. But the bubble should be with you always.
However, we did introduce a bug you've identified: it should be showing on a thread and it isn't. We'll get that fixed soon.

We have 3 sons. During our recent remodel, I suggested putting in a urinal in the boys' bathroom. Then this post in the LATimes took aim at my idea. Then there was the cost for extra plumbing. The project was already over-budget. Result: no urinal chez Acker.
Not Showing up in Directory of Professionals

We're still tracking down some problems we're having getting information from Profile updates into the Directory. You both seem to be findable now. Thanks for letting us know.
