Showed home in 2014 in Gisela, AZ.

Zillow - Kristin Croak has been very helpful by sending us lots of home descriptions in the Gisela area. Please keep them coming. I read them all and store them in my computer. When I first contacted Kristin it looked like we needed to move to the Phoenix area for medical reasons to be near the Mayo Clinic.

Looks like that's still true long-term. But in the short term my wife has decided she wants to stay in Anchorage where she can still drive without getting lost and find all her favorite people & places.

So that's why I haven't gotten back to Kristin to pursue immediate purchase. Maybe about mid-winter when the snow is neck deep again, Sandy will reconsider on the Tonto Hill country. Either way, I want whatever she wants. Thank you for your excellent service. - Don

Sold a home in 2014.

We have used Kristin twice now, for buying and selling a home. She has been truly delightful to work with and has help the process become much more manageable. I would not think of working with anyone else!!

Bought a home in 2014 for approximately $125K.

Patience, Kristin had patience as well as high morals, and superb knowledge of the processes involved in my particular situation. I came to Kristin chasing one particular property in foreclosure after having no luck with the mortgage company that held the note or in purchasing the property at trustees sale. (priced above market value) The property then became a Fannie Mae Homepath property. This was when Kristin had to educate me as Fannie Mae operates on a totally different plain than what I would think of as free market, slowly, by their own rules and negotiations? Not quite the same as in my business. After my first offer was countered above my budget our mantra became "we wait". She wrote up a second contract/offer which was summarily denied... "we wait". Literally months had gone by since my initial meeting with Kristin and prior to Fannie Mae's involvement. Shockingly Fannie Mae dropped the price to exactly what I was willing to pay, and in a shorter time than Kristin had indicated it would take. Contract/offer number three at their asking price was accepted, wonderful news! But within days Kristin called, of the three lots advertised for sale, only two where actually owned and for sale by Fannie Mae, this was accidental misrepresentation (really a simple mistake, big complication). Had to withdraw the offer when the title company notified us of this discrepancy. Patience as I said, Kristin gladly wrote offer number four drawing back to my original bid, now for two lots instead of three (I still get the house and garage as lot 3 is vacant land). At this point we accepted a counter offer from Fannie Mae. It was reasonable and I was tired of waiting. Throughout, Kristin was patient and communicative with me and with the situation. Empathetic especially when the "first purchase" had to be withdrawn. I will be recommending her to friends interested in moving to the Payson area.  More Less
