Sold a home in 2011.
KURT'S COMPANY CAME TO MY RESCUE; Previously, I had listed my SHORTSALE with Battiata and they wasted 1.5yrs on my time with no results. Watching other like houses move grated on my nerves...With so much frustration, I either had to switch or give up...that is where SDREAI saved me. As soon as I contacted Kurt and Tiffany, we started making immediate progress. I say "we" because their personal touch kept me involved, informed, and positive. Admittedly, with such a huge time on the market, they had quite the obstacle to overcome. Bottomline though-- THEY DID IT!! Specifically, they worked with Bank of America through BoA's new "Co-Op Program" and I was actually paid $2,500 for the Short Sale closing. UNIMAGINABLE with a property listed almost for 2.5yrs! I can't say enough about Kurt and how he helped soothe my nerves and aided my family of six to shed the drain on our finances (UPSIDEDOWN by $165,000). If you are looking for a qualified professional, your looking at the right guy...

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $300K in El Cajon, CA.
only had a brief conversation with Kurt, and was referred on to John La Mattery, a senior buyer specialist for Kurt regarding a purchase of a shortsale property. I cannot say there was much benefit in working with the group considering the price paid for the short sale was bid up some 35% from the original estimate although that may have been a reflection on their job of marketing. John was professional and did what was expected.

Bought a home in 2010.
We would like to thank Kurt once again for an excellent job on the purchase of our home on Mount Helix. His professional manner and negotiating skills resulted in over 100,000 dollars off the original asking price, we were amazed and very happy. Kurt?s personality and demeanor made me feel like I was an old time friend thru-out the home buying process. His recommendation for our loan broker was also fantastic. We love our home

Sold a home in 2014.
When we decided to list our home for sale well in advance of our moving out of the area, we interviewed several of the well-known realtors in our market. SDREI was not in the circle of frequently-mentioned names, but we chose to talk with them anyway. And we are glad we did.

Kurt Wannebo was highly responsive to our call and came out within two days for a face-to-face meeting with us to present his firm's capabilities and advantages. The other brokers had done so as well, so we had a pretty good basis for comparison. We each favored a different broker until we met Kurt. Something about the way he presented himself and his team rang true with us.

We've bought and sold more than a dozen homes over the years and know the kind of experience we want - as well as the kinds that we are accustomed to getting. It seems that the internet has taken much of the human touch out of the buying/selling process and we insisted on a more personal touch. The professionals at SDREI gave us just that.

Kurt assigned Felicia to be our listing agent and we were delighted with her contributions throughout it all. Communications were crisp and timely, the processes were explained to us carefully and completely in advance and we were pleased with the level of respect afforded us and our home, as well potential buyers.

SDREI sold our home in a very favorable transaction - close to asking price, all cash deal with no contingencies! And the icing on the cake - Kurt negotiated a lease-back agreement that allows us to stay in the house for many more months. That is what we call a win-win-win.

As a result of their success with the sale of our home, SDREI's profile in our neighborhood is much higher today, with another listing very nearby (and many more on the way). We are completely satisfied with our selection of Kurt, Felicia and SDREI and we recommend that you give them consideration.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 in Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA.
We used Kurt to sell a house in Carmel Valley to our existing tenants, and then to buy an investment property in the San Diego Metro area.

On the selling side, Kurt and Felicia were quick, responsive and helpful in structuring the deal and making the sale to our tenants seamless. Once the home sold, we began searching for a multi-unit investment property to buy.

Kurt assigned us John from his team, who kept us apprised of the latest MLS listings through their automated system. We felt a sense of urgency to buy a property and get it rented, as summer is the best time of year to fill rentals. John was personable and responsive, but perhaps more laid back than we preferred. I can see how his non-pushy approach can appeal to most buyers, though. With that said, he was quick to act whenever we did find a property we wanted to view or make an offer on. This resulted in us finding the ideal investment property.

After the purchase John helped host the open house to prospective renters, which was a real stress-reliever. All in all, we recommend Kurt and his team, and their willingness to listen and ensure our needs were met.

Bought a home in 2014.
Primary point of contact: John LaMattery
Buyers Agents John LaMattery and Lacy White showed us many houses in the San Diego area during our four month search for a new home. They quickly got to know our (and our kids') likes and dislikes and were able to focus in on the types of houses and neighborhoods that would suit our family's needs.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $650K in Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA.
Daniel, one agent from San Diego Real Estate and Investment, brokerkurt.com, acted as my buyer's agent.

I moved to San Diego last August. Half year later I decided to look for a property at good school districts. I happened to know this agent from Zillow and Google search. Daniel worked with me during past several months. Because I signed an one-year leasing agreement with my landlord and I was not very familiar with San Diego environment, It is not very urgent for me to compete with other buyers. I did not tell Daniel that much about this. Daniel understood this very well. He did not push me hard however always kept my information in his head. Once he found a suitable property, he immediately told me even before it appeared on the market. This is very impressive to me, so I gradually stopped co-working with other agents.

Most important is that all things Daniel promised were realized on time, and he did not send me garbage information or push me to see open houses not fit my family. Just one month before my leasing agreement due day, I bought one property at reasonable price.

If you are new to San Diego and want to buy a property, this broker looks quite good choice.

Bought a home in 2014.
We worked with Tom Wilson in Kurt's office. Tom is the consummate professional working day and night on getting us what we wanted. We had very specific criteria and Tom came through with flying colors. After the deal was negotiated, Tom kicked it up a notch with advice on inspections, walkthroughs, repairs, etc.

I would use Tom again in a heartbeat and really appreciated his patience and diligent follow-up to get the deal done.

Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $625K in Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA.
I first worked with Kurt and his team on the short sale of my first condo home in Carmel Valley and then most recently on the sale of 2nd condo (also in Carmel Valley). He understands the market in great detail, is a phenomenal marketer and knows how to position a house to fetch the best sales price. Nicole Furlong is a realtor on his team who I spent the majority of the time working with during the sales of both condos. She is highly responsive, works incredibly hard, is very dependable and so easy to work with. I would highly recommend Kurt and his team to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home; their track record speaks for itself and the amount of experience they have provides a real benefit to the client.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $475K in Clairemont Mesa East, San Diego, CA.
We have been very happy working with Tom Wilson. We purchased an investment property with him and he was absolutely great in every aspects through out the entire process. Tom is very good in following up with the details, plus his friendly and upfront personality helps negotiate fairly with the seller/listing agent. I was totally satisfied with working with Tom so much that I introduced him to one of my friends and she also ended up purchasing a property with him at Carmel Valley. Tom is definitely a valuable and trustworthy agent; and big kudos to Kurt for having someone like Tom in his office.
