Well That is tough... I would probably start with asking the builder to either give you address of the homes he has built already and ask if you can contact the customers that he has built for.Maybe ask around at different building supply companies and lighting companies etc. to see if the workers have heard of him and his work... I would definetly contact the better buisiness burea to see if anyone has complained about him etc.. But the main thing is to go check out his work and maybe bring someone with you that know construction. I would maybe also researc the internet to see if they have certain questions you can ask builders.
