Sales here are down overall but very few REO's or foreclosures in this area. Homes and properties that are priced right in Page are moving, so that is great news. Our Lake View lots, which in the past were a huge seller, have taken a hit the last 12 months. Lots of folks looking for rentals, not many on the market tho. Getting ready to do third quarter market reports for both Page, Arizona and Big Water, Utah so the number should tell more.
Hi Folks - Heather Rankin, ERA Utah Properites out of Kanab Utah howeverLive and Work in the Lake Powell Area - this includes Page and Greenehaven, Arizona,Big Water, Church Wells, and Paria, Utah. The market in the Eastern Kane county areas of Utah has slowed almost to a stop but we've not had any foreclosures. Things are still moving in Northern Coconino County, Arizona although market levels are back to the late 2004 early 2005 levels. Page and Greenehaven are seeing some movement but slow. Lake view properties and homes are slower than more affordable in town properties.
I am stuck on the term "double talk". On one hand that seems to mean saying one thing yet doing another, and on the other, simply not giving straight forward answers. In this market neither one of the above is acceptable.I would gather a list of questions, sit down the with agent and get answers. If they are not the right answers - move on.
