Sold a Condo home in 2007 for approximately $475K in Waialae-Kahala, Honolulu, HI.
It was very important to me to sell my condo quickly as I'd just bought a house. Laura helped me get my condo ready to list, advised me what needed to go and what could stay, and she helped me stage the condo very simply and tastefully using mostly my own furniture. (I was surprised my place seemed so pleasant after the staging!) The efforts paid off handsomely as her marketing drew lots of buyers, and they consistently commented on how much they liked the way my unit looked, and some even wanted to buy the furniture! I am very happy to say it sold on time and at a price that remains a record high for a unit of its size in that complex. She is very smart, honest, communicates well, knows the market and business, has good follow up (the buyer was found because she followed up), and is very pleasant to work with. Sold a Single Family home in 2006 for approximately $875K in McCully/Moiliili, Honolulu, HI.
Laura was the listing agent for my older, multi-unit property. She new just what features to highlight in marketing materials and how to bring in the buyers, and we received multiple offers quickly. She helped us see which offers seemed to have solid financing, and which were questionable, and was able to do this because she'd worked as a mortgage loan officer. Also, we had tenants renting the property. While tenants can sometimes become agitated and difficult when their home is being sold, Laura worked very respectfully with ours and they remained pleasant and stayed on through closing. Finally, Laura handled an encroachment matter swiftly, and we were able to close on time. She also worked as a lawyer before, so she could explain the terms clearly and has great attention to detail. I have a lot of confidence in her and recommend her highly -- she is very knowledgeable, easy to work with, a truly nice person, and has integrity. Bought a Condo home in 2009 for approximately $525K in Mililani, HI.
One the most caring and knowledgeable real estate agent I have ever worked with. We bought our home from her and we could not have gotten a better deal. We viewed at least fifty homes and talked to six to seven agents. She handled the range of transactions to include the financing at the lowest rate available and still the lowest rate after 2 years.
