Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $175K in Bellevue, KY.
We found Laura by accident, and we are so very glad we did. As first-time home buyers, we were very nervous but also very excited. Laura was incredibly knowledgable about each step of the process. She never made us feel uncomfortable about voicing our opinions or asking lots of questions, and we felt from our first interaction that she was on our side. Laura was also always highly professional in her interactions with us and others, all the while representing our interests. Her communications were very prompt and clear. She even attended our closing and the personal touches she put on our "welcome home" basket were incredibly impressive. We are so grateful for Laura's skill set, honesty, zeal, and good humor throughout our house search and could not be happier in our new home.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Union, KY.
Laura was fantastic!! It was our first experience buying a home in US, we viewed many houses and ended up in a very nice neighborhood. She was very patient and helpful, she always responded quickly to our questions and gave us great advice regarding excellent inspectors and contractors when we asked. All in all she did an excellent job at walking us through all the steps of the process. We would absolutely work with Laura Lozzi again, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a Realtor in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Laura is an extremely good listener and had pointed suggestions based on our needs. She always followed up and nothing was too small for her to research. I only wish to her benefit that we were on the upswing of real estate vs downsizing
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $150K in Erlanger, KY.
Laura was great to work with. She helped sell our home in Erlanger, KY and was extremely patient while we looked for a new home. She's very responsive, knowledgeable about the process, and a pleasure to work with.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $650K in Villa Hills, KY.
Laura Lozzi was professional and courteous. Her positive energy and eagerness to help us was not overbearing or off-putting in any way. She listened to our needs and concerns but also convinced us to step outside of our comfort zone and consider slightly different areas - and it paid off! She never made us feel that we were a burden to her or her schedule and she was always willing to meet us after-hours or on weekends, for our convenience. Even after we had closed and moved in, we had a lovely "happy home" gift basket waiting there from Laura! What a class act!
Helped me rent a Multi Family home in Cincinnati, OH.
We were in the market for a 6 month lease because we were in the process of building a house and didn't want a long term commitment. We knew going in, finding someone who was willing to settle for a short term lease would be difficult but felt with a little creativity and some extra money on the table that we could find what we were looking for. After contacting Laura Lozzi I setup a showing of a condo, she was representing, that would meet our needs.
From the minute we met she was not warm or welcoming. She said very little, opened the door of the condo and stepped aside for me to walk through on my own. Not in a way to give me my space but more of a lack of interest in the product she was marketing for the homeowner. She was just cold and disconnected. After a quick walk through, it was the perfect place for our family to live until our house was finished. I then explained to Laura that we were hoping for a 6 month lease. She quickly said (with a bit of disgust), "They won't do that." I explained how I understood that it wasn't what they would call ideal but maybe if we sweetened the deal they would consider it. She immediately replied with, "I can ask but there is a 98% chance the answer is No". These were her exact words. It was like; get out, move on and stop wasting my time. I was really shocked by her unwillingness to even consider the option.
After I left, I had little confidence that she would go to bat for us. Therefore, I wrote an email with an offer that I asked her to forward to the homeowner. It was for us to pay for the entire month that was already half over, for us to pay for another extra month on top of that and also for us to pay everything upfront. Meaning the owner of the unit got paid 7 months rent for 5 1/2 months of stay and got a check for $12,800 at the time of contract signing. Of course the homeowner agreed this was a great deal. However, what was so frustrating is I had to be the one who brought this to the table. Laura would have just written us off and moved on, meaning we all would have lost out on what became a great opportunity for everyone.
Lastly, she was so unresponsive to my emails that I finally had to compose an email expressing our frustration due to her lack of interest in representing us. We did not have a realtor and ran everything through Laura. This proved to be a mistake. Laura's response to my email was extremely defensive and she said she was sorry she helped us. I am assuming what she meant by this is she was sorry she forwarded my email to the owner because I didn't get much help from Laura at all.
To top it all off she got so defensive on the day we handed over the check that my wife had to ask her to stop trying to argue with us. I bet my wife said 4 times, "Okay, just stop!"
I do a fair amount of buying and selling of properties. I have friends and clients that are realtors, yet have never met someone so unprofessional in this line of work. What's interesting is I got an email from the owner of the condo just last week asking if we're going to extend our stay and to let her know if we're not because they want to look for another realtor to represent them next time. I'm not sure what this is about but found it all so telling....
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $175K in Hebron, KY.
Laura helped buy our new home long distance. We were living in Maine and moving to Hebron for a new job. We had no opportunity to visit Kentucky to look at houses before starting work here, but Laura stepped up and gave the extra effort. Her team took lots of extra pictures and did a video walk through of the two houses we were interested in. She did all of the leg work to get us ready for closing, and she even did some of the listing agent's work. Except for some delays caused by the seller everything was smooth and we were able to unload the moving truck right into our new house soon after we arrived in Kentucky for the very first time. We love to recommend Laura because we know she will get things done!
Laura was both seller agent and buyer agent for me. She is definitely a professional business person, ethical, relentless worker and in my case did most of the other agents work who were representing the other parties involved. She has fantastic follow up skills. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Laura to family, friends and others for your real estate agent. Mark & Ashley 12.30.12 Client, Seller & Buyer
