I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University. After 30 years in executive management positions for local high technology firms such as Northrop Grumman, Hughes, Boeing and Oracle, (and after earning a Masters in Business Administration from University of Southern California (USC) along the way), I followed my passion for real estate and became a Realtor® in 2004, followed by obtaining my California Broker's license in 2005. I spent the first 6 years of my Real Estate career at a small, highly respected local "boutique" real estate firm. I've recently made the move to RE/MAX Execs, a group of 13 large RE/MAX offices throughout the South Bay, from Palos Verdes to Santa Monica. The combination of all the larger franchise has to offer plus all that I've learned from my first firm will be dynamite for my clients, I think. I pride myself on ethics, integrity, professionalism, and customer service. My slogan is "Fabulous Knowledge, Fabulous Service, Fabulous Results" and I really try to incorporate all of this into the service levels I provide for my clients.
Having negotiated with the Department of Defense on multi-billion dollar contracts, I'm an excellent negotiator and can help clients to really understand the market data.
I've been married to my husband, Garth Sheriff, AIA, a noted local architect, for over 22 years, and he is available for consultations for my clients. Together we have two beautiful daughters in college, a horse, two dogs, and two cats. He is active in our church and I am the President of a local charity to benefit Orthopaedic Hospital called Las Amigas de las Lomas.
