This was my first purchase of a home or any sort of real state. I had a relatively short time frame to find a home and close. I wanted to close within 3 months of my arrival in Seattle because I only had a short term lease on an apartment. I didn't want to waste any more money on rent and the price of housing was increasing very quickly during that time. The other main requirement I had was, that the place had to be a quick commute to my work. I don't drive. So it had to be within walking distance or easy access to public transport. During the first week, we went through more than 50 houses on paper and Laurie was quick to tell me about issues with some of the listings that sounded too good. We visited around 20 of the houses and she knew how to quantify the uneasiness I felt on some of properties .She never pushed me to buy something I wasn't thrilled about. Even the houses I was thrilled about, she kept me from making emotional decisions by reminding me of my own requirements. We didn't find a home that was perfect during that process but she kept me updated daily about new listings. I found one that fit what I needed. Laurie was quick to get me a viewing of the place. I think it was within 24 hours of the listing. It was what I was looking for. She quickly went through her inventory and agreed that I probably would not get a better deal than this in the time frame I had. I made an offer that day. The next phase was to close as soon as possible. It was fairly smooth. We had some initial issues due to the seller being in Europe and the seller's agent being on vacation and my loan officer being on vacation. But Laurie was proactive in helping me push this through and we closed in less than a month after the offer. There were a lot of paperwork but Laurie was able to explain it to me fairly well. Through out the whole process, I never once felt like she wasn't looking out for my best interest. It has been a little over 8 months since I closed on the purchase. I still get excited telling people about the bargain I got with my purchase and I always felt guilty that I didn't write her a review earlier.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $375K in Madison Park, Seattle, WA.

Laurie Way is a very experienced and professional realtor. She helped me sell my aged Uncle's upscale condominium in a depressed market. Her expertise and marketing skills made the process easy for me and the buyer and the ultimate sale price was a fair one.

I would recommend Laurie Way to anyone who needs a good, competent realtor.

Her backup team, who are in her office, do an excellent job too. They worked as a team to get all of the paperwork done efficiently. They kept me apprised from start to finish.

This realtor does not list the property and hope for the best. She really gets with it.

Sold a home in 2014 in Sahalee, Sammamish, WA 98074.

We worked with Laurie on our home purchase and eventual sale. I really appreciated how "on it" Laurie and her team were throughout the process. She had a smart pricing strategy, lined up a professional photographer for the listing, and made sure things happened with speed. When the inspection turned up a couple potentially large items, she worked quickly on a creative solution that took care if everyone's needs and kept the sales process going. Really great Realtor!

Laurie is a true professional! She knows the market and directs you to what you are really looking for. She will not waste your time showing you properties that do not fit your profile. She will go out of her way to make herself availalbe when your schedule is a crazy mess. Laurie is a realtor where integrity and hard work comes first. It was a pleasure working with her.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $300K in Shoreline, WA.

Laurie came to me at a very difficult time. I was selling my house in a divorce. She was kind but efficient and knew just what to do from how much furniture to leave in the house to what yard decorations needed to go. If Laurie said do this.. I did it. She has great knowledge about prices in all areas and what I could do to make the house more appealing. If I called her she got back to me very quickly. I sold my house to the first buyer to look at it and got full price. I would recommend Laurie to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.

Bought a Condo home in 2007 for approximately $450K in Downtown, Bellevue, WA.

Laurie Way was my realtor when I was looking for a condo several years ago. I was new to the Seattle and she was indispensable to my home search. Since I didn't own a car or drive, Laurie would pick me up and drive me to several condos before returning me home after a long day. Since I was unfamiliar with this area, she gladly introduced me to many different locations in the city and surrounding suburbs. She was always pleasant, easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable at every step. Even after my condo closed, she referred me to a reliable contractor to make the renovations I wanted. She was very supportive and gave me good suggestions about appliances and details for the renovation. Laurie was a great realtor and I would recommend her services to anyone!

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $475K in Issaquah, WA.

Laurie has helped us buy a house several times. Once was a short sale that fell thru. Ultimately we ended up renting a house and Laurie accepted our decision with good grace. The second time was several years later and she assisted with our current house. The negotiations were demanding and time consuming, but Laurie handled everything like the pro she is. I would recommend Laurie to any of my friends or family that were interested in house hunting. She is knowledgeable and professional, additionally she is a lot of fun!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Fox Island, WA.

We moved from Miami to the Seattle area, and met Laurie Way at an Open House. We were so lucky to have met her because she helped us with all our real estate needs. Her knowledge of the area was by far the best of anyone we met. I have worked with few agents in my time, and Laurie Way out shines them all. Her pleasant personality, and patience were comforting to us during our house hunting. If we ever needed to use another real estate agent again, Laurie Way would be the only one we would use. We love her that much.

Sold a Condo home in 2009 in Belltown, Seattle, WA.

Laurie has sold two condos for me now-- one in an extremely difficult market. She has a in-depth knowledge of the market place, and is persistent. She keeps at it until she succeeds. She also was very helpful taking care of repair and spruce up items that came along, which I really needed help with because of my busy schedule. I would definitely recommend her.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $375K in Greenwood, Seattle, WA.

Rarely have I been so blown away by competency and customer service. I've worked with many contractors and other sales professionals, but Laurie Way takes the cake. I worked with her both as a first-time home buyer and later as a first-time seller. She was patient, genuine, knowledgeable, and went to bat for me as far as negotiating the best deal possible. When I went through the process of selling my house, I had moved out of state due to being in the military...she went above and beyond to ensure the house was in good showing condition and to assist me in completing transactions that typically fall outside the scope of a real estate agent.

If you are looking for an agent to assist with buying or selling a home, and want someone whom you can trust to be invested in the process and your best interest, look no more!
