This was my first purchase of a home or any sort of real state. I had a relatively short time frame to find a home and close. I wanted to close within 3 months of my arrival in Seattle because I only had a short term lease on an apartment. I didn't want to waste any more money on rent and the price of housing was increasing very quickly during that time. The other main requirement I had was, that the place had to be a quick commute to my work. I don't drive. So it had to be within walking distance or easy access to public transport. During the first week, we went through more than 50 houses on paper and Laurie was quick to tell me about issues with some of the listings that sounded too good. We visited around 20 of the houses and she knew how to quantify the uneasiness I felt on some of properties .She never pushed me to buy something I wasn't thrilled about. Even the houses I was thrilled about, she kept me from making emotional decisions by reminding me of my own requirements. We didn't find a home that was perfect during that process but she kept me updated daily about new listings. I found one that fit what I needed. Laurie was quick to get me a viewing of the place. I think it was within 24 hours of the listing. It was what I was looking for. She quickly went through her inventory and agreed that I probably would not get a better deal than this in the time frame I had. I made an offer that day. The next phase was to close as soon as possible. It was fairly smooth. We had some initial issues due to the seller being in Europe and the seller's agent being on vacation and my loan officer being on vacation. But Laurie was proactive in helping me push this through and we closed in less than a month after the offer. There were a lot of paperwork but Laurie was able to explain it to me fairly well. Through out the whole process, I never once felt like she wasn't looking out for my best interest. It has been a little over 8 months since I closed on the purchase. I still get excited telling people about the bargain I got with my purchase and I always felt guilty that I didn't write her a review earlier.

Sold a home in 2015 in Seattle, WA.

I give the highest rating to Laurie Way! I think she is extraordinary. I needed to move out of town before I was actually ready to sell and Laurie stood out among realtors I interviewed because of her positive manner and obvious knowledge of the area and the market. She quickly found people to finish cleanup and repairs, and she also kept my spirits up with her own good cheer. She was really there for me! Despite a broken foot, bound in a cast, she dealt with letting workers in and setting up open house and showings, and meeting with clients. Her suggestions were excellent, and when put on the market, my condo sold in 5 days-- receiving several bids. Follow through was easier than I expected, especially from a distance; Laurie explained, over the phone, the papers that were sent, and I could sign them on the internet! I would not hesitate to give the highest recommendation to Laurie Way, to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home.

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 in Poulsbo, WA.

Laurie only has her client's best interests at heart! She patiently worked with us for almost a year while we searched for our "perfect" home. When we did find our house, it was outside her normal territory, but she took the time to make the commute to and from Seattle to Poulsbo several times to get the deal done!

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 in Shoreline, WA.

I really can't say enough nice things about Laurie. My wife and I came from out of state with little knowledge of the Seattle area. Laurie was great at showing us all of the different possibilities and ensuring we understood all of the pros and cons of the houses we looked through. Even though we were beat out on the first few homes we put offers in on, Laurie remained determined to find us our ideal house: scouting for new leads, setting up last minute showings, and turning around offer letters extremely quickly. I would strongly recommend Laurie to anyone looking for a home in Seattle or the surrounding suburbs.

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 in Bryant, Seattle, WA.

Those stars in my review I just posted should have been 5 stars not 3. I just can't tell you in a short review all that was achieved by being associated with Ms. Way. I shudder to think what would have taken place had I not of found Ms. Way.

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 in Matthews Beach, Seattle, WA.

We were from out the area and Laurie spent hours helping us locate and negotiate our home purchase. Being from out of town most of the negotiations were over the phone or via email. She was very responsive to our needs and made the whole process be completed in a timely manner. Her knowledge of the area and the home buying process was excellent. I would highly recommend Laurie to anyone in the home buying market and would not hesitate to use her services again.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $375K in Madison Park, Seattle, WA.

Laurie Way is a very experienced and professional realtor. She helped me sell my aged Uncle's upscale condominium in a depressed market. Her expertise and marketing skills made the process easy for me and the buyer and the ultimate sale price was a fair one.

I would recommend Laurie Way to anyone who needs a good, competent realtor.

Her backup team, who are in her office, do an excellent job too. They worked as a team to get all of the paperwork done efficiently. They kept me apprised from start to finish.

This realtor does not list the property and hope for the best. She really gets with it.

Sold a home in 2014 in Sahalee, Sammamish, WA 98074.

We worked with Laurie on our home purchase and eventual sale. I really appreciated how "on it" Laurie and her team were throughout the process. She had a smart pricing strategy, lined up a professional photographer for the listing, and made sure things happened with speed. When the inspection turned up a couple potentially large items, she worked quickly on a creative solution that took care if everyone's needs and kept the sales process going. Really great Realtor!

Laurie is a true professional! She knows the market and directs you to what you are really looking for. She will not waste your time showing you properties that do not fit your profile. She will go out of her way to make herself availalbe when your schedule is a crazy mess. Laurie is a realtor where integrity and hard work comes first. It was a pleasure working with her.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $300K in Shoreline, WA.

Laurie came to me at a very difficult time. I was selling my house in a divorce. She was kind but efficient and knew just what to do from how much furniture to leave in the house to what yard decorations needed to go. If Laurie said do this.. I did it. She has great knowledge about prices in all areas and what I could do to make the house more appealing. If I called her she got back to me very quickly. I sold my house to the first buyer to look at it and got full price. I would recommend Laurie to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
