Lee is the full package and the real deal. She is the reason everyone should have a real estate agent. From first contact on the walk-through to assess the property, to negotiation of the sale – and sale price –, to inspection, appraisal, titlework and closing, she worked in my best interest. She has been the impetus driving the sale from day one (even when I didn’t realize it!).
She knew what the property needed to sell – has great taste and sense of color, made the fix-up contractor connection and stayed with the workings to ensure timely completion (especially important when – as in my case - you don’t live in the city where the house is located). She translated her vision of the house beautifully to a photographed MLS listing. The house sold in a little over a day to the first couple who looked at it, for a sales price substantially above ASK, appraised at that price (with Lee’s help), and closed within the month.
What more can I say?!! She gets ****************** stars. I recommend Lee very, very highly!!!

have had the privilege to work with Lee Richie 2 times and both times were excellent experiences. While living in Columbus Ohio , and having both of our children out of the house , we were looking to relocate to German Village. No one knows German Village better than Lee. Lee listened to our needs , as it related to price, number of rooms , and type of home. She utilized the all tools , was courteous , professional , and patient. So patient that she stayed in touch with us for two years continually trying to make sure that she was providing us with that right house.
In April of this year, I was fortunate enough to accept a new job in San Antonio , Texas and was now faced with a biggest relocation. There was no question who we would select as our real estate agent.
I have never seen such commitment, professionalism , and quite honestly pure will in helping us sell our home. She priced it right , she was available , weekends , late hours , and whenever I needed her. She held an open house the first weekend the house went on to the market. She came to our home voluntarily not once but twice to advise us on things that needed to be removed to help it sell better. Anyone who has had a major relocation can understand the stress and strain that it can have. I was in Texas an my wife left behind n Ohio. Lee was perfect in managing my wife in Ohio who had to get everything done in the house , from pre-sale, showings , the offer negotiations, and assisting with the repairs needed from the home inspection. While at the same time keeping me informed and getting my needed approval when necessary. Without her understanding , relentless faith in us and encouragement that our house would sell, I am not sure that this would have gone as smoothly as it did.
Our house sold in 63 days after putting it on the market. My wife was on her way to Texas , and I was working in Texas and Lee was our sole representative at the Closing. I have sold 3 houses in my life time this was by far the best sales experience I have had . I recommend Lee Richie for any real estate needs that you may have.

We had our unique urban condo listed with another realtor who was recommended by a friend prior to Lee. That realtor invested very little effort to hasten the sale of our condo. After 30 days with that realtor and being full of frustration, I headed down the path of doing an exhaustive realtor search -- the right way. Lee came in at the top of the list.
Lee immediately went to work on the market analyses, pricing, listing, marketing strategies, and marketing venues for our condo. The first day our condo was on the market with Lee, we had an offer! 30 days later we closed on our condo. While there were some twists and turns throughout the 30 days with the buyer's financing, Lee held our hand and made it happen.
My partner and I have sold 4 homes in our lifetime. We both regret not having Lee represent us in our prior real estate sales. Lee represents the top tier of competence in the real estate world. My husband and I started working with Lee in the fall of 2013, we quickly told her we had a great condo and were looking for something in very specific areas and it would have to be wonderful for us to buy. We anticipated a longer search, and contacted her intermittently when something would catch our eye, or she would reach out when she saw something and thought of us.
Lee was our agent for both buying our home and selling our condo. She was responsive and thoughtful in her responses, I didn't ever feel like we were delayed or waiting for her on information, which is a huge thing for me. She and her team (we worked with Lacey as well) were proactive and consistently professional.
Let me tell you a little about our experience, Lee was our advisor, she knows the areas and the market, and one time even had to remind us there were lots more houses for sale and the perfect one would come up, and it did. Lee helped us provide a very competitive offer for our home that we purchased because she felt it would go very quickly (thankfully it did, and to us). She also advised on staging our condo for sale and pricing and it was sold in 2-3 days!
All in all, the responsiveness, professionalism, and advisory role Lee (and team) provided during our search, purchase and sale was exemplary, and truly I am telling everyone I know about her!

Lee is an incredible agent! She has superior knowledge of the downtown areas in which I was looking and helped me walk through the pros and cons of each property I viewed. As a first time home buyer, I had A LOT of questions, and Lee made sure I fully understood every part of the process. I am very satisfied with my new home and highly recommend Lee!
I can't express how fortunate my husband, Ali, and I were in finding Lee to guide us in our search for our house as first-time home buyers. We moved to Columbus in Fall 2013 and went to dozens of open houses to get a good idea of the Columbus market. We met another realtor at an open house and really liked her and had decided that she would be our relator when the time came; however she never returned our communications. It was still about a month or two before we were going to be serious about looking, but given our experience with this first realtor, I looked on Yelp for reviews on agents, and Lee's reviews were STELLAR. I signed up on her website that day to receive listings, and Lee called and left a message on my cell the next day! I was so surprised that she took the time out of her busy schedule to call me, who had just signed up on her website. She was so easy to talk to and listened to what were were looking for and helped me personalize my search. We were particularly interested in the Upper Arlington market. About a month later, Lee called us just to check in. It happened that a few houses were just listed and we called Lee on a Saturday evening in January to see some houses the next day that were recently listed. We saw 3 separate houses, and Lee took the time to learn about what we liked and didn't like about each house. We actually liked the last house a lot and spent almost up to an hour discussing our thoughts about the house with Lee. We ended up visiting the last one a second time two days later and putting an offer in. Although our offer was accepted, the inspector that Lee recommended (See my Terra Firma review) found a MAJOR problem with the structure of the house and we ultimately chose to walk away. Lee was absolutely great through all of it, even though we felt devastated. We continued to work with Lee, and she must have shown us over 15 other houses in the next few months. She was always very quick with communicaiton and by a certain point, was able to almost tell immediately after walking in if we were interested or not. Ali and I trust Lee 100%, with absolutely no reservations. We even disccused as we were looking and were going to be out of town that we'd trust her opinion on any homes if they came up while we were out of town, without even seeing them! After a little over 3 months, we were feeling a little defeated by not finding anything that we liked as much as the first house. In a very fortunate twist, I happened to be looking on a house sales website one evening and saw that a house in the same neighborhood as the first was listed "For Sale By Owner". I immediately contacted Lee and she set up a showing the next day and we had finally found our house! I was a little nervous about it being FSBO, but Lee and her assistant, Lacey, navigated everything so professionally and we are now owners of a house that we love even more than the first!
We cannot put a price on the guidance, assistance, and relationship that Lee offered to us as first-time buyers. Lee is truly an expert in her field, and I while I hope to keep this house for awhile, if we ever think of moving, Lee will be the first person we call. Lee is not only an amazing realtor, she truly cares about her clients and their happiness. There were so many times when I would communicate with Lee about my feelings of disappointment through the process, and Lee was always there to be empathetic and give us hope that our house was out there somewhere. We know that, although we have had our closing, we will be seeing Lee again once we make some renovations to our house and will show her the finished product. Throughout the entire process, Lee was there to answer all of our questions, and she made it clear that protecting us as buyers in the process was her absolute main objective. Frankly, if you don't choose Lee as your agent, you are missing out on the best agent out there. Her ability to effectively and efficiently navigate the process of offers and negotiating is outstanding. In fact, her skill in communicating our offer was ultimately what led to our success in having our bid accepted. She spent hours on the phone with the FSBO couple and was clear and unwavering on our offer window. We absolutely believe that it was an important piece of our offer being accepted. Not only was the home buying process much more navigable with Lee, she offered us some really great recommendations on inspectors and other professionals and contractors related to renovations. We honestly can't thank Lee and Lacey enough for the time and work they put into the process!

As a first time home buyer and new to Ohio (coming from San Francisco, CA), Lee went above and beyond to find me my dream home. She is hands down the best real estate agent in Ohio! She is knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate, AMAZING at negotiating, and personable.
As a first time home buyer, I was scared and nervous on several (okay all occasions.) She calmly walked me through every piece of the home buying process. She never continued before I was 100% confident in my decision and she always ensured I understood everything I was signing. In 28 days, I started house hunting, made an offer, got my offer accepted, did a home inspection, completed endless paperwork, negotiated several pieces of the home buying process and closed. (While being 2,500 miles away for 25 of those 28 days!)
She is unbelievably knowledgeable about the Columbus market and has contacts in every aspect of the industry. I used her recommendations for Lenders and home inspectors and things couldn’t have went better. She was able to provide valuable recommendations to me on buildings, neighborhoods, market value and how to handle this process. She is opinionated but in a good way. She wants to make sure her clients are making sound, rational decisions and not getting caught up in emotion.
She is dedicated about her clients. She answers calls, texts, emails immediately which is unbelievable important in this competitive market. I spent most of my time interacting with her at a three hour time difference where I worked 12 hours/day with limited free time. She worked around my schedule and accommodated to my preferred method of communication.
She has a wonderful team that helps and supports her clients. After I put my offer in, I needed to sign part of the contract by close of business. However, I was on my way to the airport to catch my flight back to California. Her assistant, Lacey, drove to the airport to have me the sign the paperwork.
I know that no other real estate agent would have been able to complete my home hunting process this fast and with this little of stress. From the first meeting, I knew I could trust her and she never let me down. I will look back at this experience as an amazing journey and am grateful that I found her.
