I begun searching for a home in Reno in May, and found interesting options online. However, as a California resident, who is completely new to the process of buying a house, I felt I needed a real estate agent with local knowledge to guide me through the process, particularly since most of the leads I found were undergoing a short sale. It turned out that majority of the leads I was interested in were in contract negotiation and therefore no longer available but you wouldn’t know it. The first agent I got promised he could provide me with better leads but kept sending me the same leads that appeared to be automatically generated by a computer. After a while, I ignored his automated emails, and was fortunate enough to make contact with Lewis.
Lewis asked me what my criteria and budget was, and sent me highly customized, and high quality listings, some of which were not available on online listing services such as Trulia or Zillow. I chose 10 companies that I wanted to investigate, planned a trip to Reno and had Lewis drive me to inspect all 10 of them! What I liked about the trip is Lewis’ willingness to share insights about different neighborhoods in Reno.
Following my trip to Reno, I deliberated for about a week, and instructed Lewis to make an offer on a house I liked. Unfortunately, the house I liked was off the market, so I had to restart the process again. The good news is, with Lewis’ help, I knew what I wanted and which neighborhoods. Consequently, when I saw a new listing I liked, I made the offer without ever visiting. Since this was a short sale, and a lot of documents needed to be taken care of, and this is where Lewis experience in both new purchases and short sales was invaluable. Lewis took the pain out of the process, and took care of EVERYTHING! I saw the house for the first time when I came in for the inspection.
Would I use Lewis again? In a heartbeat, and I will recommend all my friends and colleagues too!

Lewis was very professional throughout the entire process of purchasing my investment property. From the start he understood exactly what I was looking for and was able to find several good options. It was a bit changeling finding the right house for me in the neighborhood I wanted and also with my price range. Lewis was very persistent, showing me several houses each week. In the end when Lewis found the perfect match for me. He contacted me both by email and a phone call stating that he found a great deal for me that had both the location that I wanted and was in my price range. He took me the very next day to see the house and he wrote up my offer that same day. The house exceeded my expectations and was a great investment for me. Lewis informed after I purchased the house that more then twenty appointments to see the house had to be canceled. It shows that Lewis was on top of his game to be quicker than all the other realty agents on such a great deal. I was very impressed with Lewis, his negotiation skills were the main factor in getting the price where I wanted and working in my favor with closing costs.
