when searching for towaco, nj real estate, why does mountain lakes, denville, montville..all other towns come up as well?

We have a post from our realtor and the zillow zestimate is seriously wrong how can that be correct

As a concerned realtor, my sellers always are very upset with the Zestimates, understandably so. It is the biggest problem we, realtors face  . We look very unprofessional in our Clients eyes that we cannot correct the stupidity of these Zestimates. As well as the location problem, listing in a town where there are three zip codes. The home auto populates to the zip code that is outside the main township name that is searched. Result? no one sees it!!!Zillow has caused me much aggravation and frustration and wasted hours on the phone with Zillow staff and angry home owners!!!Response of only being concerned with appraisal and /or market value does not help the buyers looking on Zillow. If a consumer is searching for information on Zillow, they should get accurate information!

OPEN HOUSE ON 7 FERN AVE

We can not edit our listings. We can not enter our number to verify and can not remove an open house. I spoke to a representative who assured it would be removed from listing for me since I had no access and it is still there. The home owner is upset since the open house was canceled. Can someone please remove it from description and heading as well as the date?

Why has the price increased from $399,000?

Answer

the price always was 439,000..Zillow places a price opinion on the homes themselves. 399,000 is what They thru their methods, what the value is. They do not compare it to similar homes as a realtor or appraiser would, a computerized program researches the tax records for the sales in the neighborhood regardless of what kind if home it is and they come up with their value.
