Showed home in 2014 in Globe, Woonsocket, RI 02895.
My domestic partner had chosen her to work with us because who he desired to work with was not licensed in RI, only MA. If it was up to me, I would have utilized someone more local to us as we are from MA & we had to always do the running around to their Woonsocket location. She is licensed in MA and RI, and could have, at some points, met us half way to sign things such as a release form, or even offered to actually meet ME half way to give me a check in hand when it comes in. No, I have to 1. pick it up or 2. have her mail it to me. So she will help you if it's self serving to her in my opinion. She won't go out of her way. And one would think, that if she is selling in MA, this should NOT pose a problem to meet someone to give them a check - but that was never offered. Would be too much for her, since she doesn't benefit from it. My biggest issue with Linda is when we were negotiating we conveyed to her we had NO MONEY to put into a house that had big ticket items that needed to be addressed during home inspection. She stated she had to notify us of all the counter offers, but when an individual desires something, and they can't do further, to keep calling stating well the sellers will do this, but can you do that? --which would have cost us 2K out of pocket was ridiculous. I feel like she didn't listen to what we kept saying (which was stated verbally and in writing). She kept stating it was part of negotiation. NOT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY to NEGOTIATE. Then I find out the house that we had issues with (those sellers) were trying to buy a house with the owner Duane Boucher for whom Linda works for. So it is not hard to put 2 and 2 together and see that she tried to push this deal on us, not to benefit us, but to benefit her boss. She kept stating she was working for us. If that was the case, the deal would not have been going back and forth since as a buyer, if you state I have no more money on hand she should know that means what is exactly implied. She then says on further houses that she will attempt to pull disclosures online prior to bringing us out. That would have been nice to know on many of the 7-8 houses we saw instead of wasting a whole day on the process of seeing those houses. If you're traveling a half hour or 40 minutes from your job, you don't desire your time wasted. That particular information (that she could obtain disclosures online) BEFORE we met up, would have been nice to know PRIOR. I also think she needs to not rely on calling one person and expecting them to relay messages back to the other. She seems to not have the time to wait for TWO people to be on the phone and conference in at the same time, she rather just talk to one or the other. After the deal fell threw I was notified by my partner that she didn't have time for him anymore because he said her "turn around time severely lacked" after we rejected to go forth with buying a home that had many problems. Evidently she said she had a lot to do lately, like process my refund deposit. Which is funny, since if she actually listened to us from the get go, that check could have processed the Friday we stated we could not come up with any more money. Even when I stated to her that I did NOT desire to hear from her anymore, she kept on texting me. I knew my deposit check was coming back as I told her where to send it. She states she is more of a conversationalist on the phone, but I suggest you write emails and keep track of what you state to her, as evidently you can relate one thing to her and she does the opposite. Do what's right for you, because as a Realtor she is looking to make a profit. Hilarious she stated to my partner she would show him 50 homes until he found the right one, but when he stated he asked her about some she said "sorry things didn't work out" when he still figured he had to work w/ her as he thinks he's under a 3 mo contract. I wouldn't recommend her myself unless you do your own research on the house you're looking into without relying on her (remember she is trying make a profit), the sellers etc.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $350K in Attleboro, MA.
My wife and I enjoyed working with Linda while searching for a home after we wed. Linda also listed and sold my existing home in a very timely and impressive manner.
Our overall experience with Linda was great, she was highly professional, very eager to assist us in every aspect of the home buying process and willing and able to explain everything to us. I spoke with Linda after the closings and told her that she was the only bright spot thru out the whole process and that we really enjoyed working together with her. My wife and I felt as if Linda was more of a friend than a realator and that she took the time to get to know us and to help us refine our home search to find us the perfect home, which she did. If you need a realtor we highly recommend her, we believe you can't find anyone better. Thanks You Linda.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $450K in Hope Valley, RI.
We loved Linda! We were relocating to the state and knew nothing. She was very good about answering any questions I had and made me feel comfortable. She spent as much time with us as we needed and responded very quickly to any phone call or message. I highly recommend her whether it is your first or 50th home.
When it came time to look for a home to buy, my wife and I feel like we won the Lottery the day we picked a home online and she was the Agent assigned from Boucher Realty! This was my second home purchase in my life, and the first time for my wife. Linda's Professionalism and the fact she actually seemed to care was a breathe of fresh air. She diligently showed us home after home we chose from off sites like Zillow.
She was cheerful and always had a smile even when it was a downpour and raw outside. It's the small things that add up sometimes. Finally we found a house, pulled the trigger, made an offer, and with Linda's guidance, we went back and forth until both sides agreed.
She carefully explained all the paperwork, which was pretty overwhelming. And soon, we had our house!
We are forever grateful for the time, effort and patience she showed to us in the purchasing of our home.
I was a first time home buyer and I don't think I could have asked for a better agent. She fielded all of my questions and helped me find a great home. We worked together for seven months and viewed dozens of homes, and she was always professional and answered any questions I had.
I'm so glad that I found Linda on Zillow, and I could not recommend her enough!
We will always be very appreciative of Linda helping us buy our first home. As first time home buyers we had a lot of questions, and Linda was both patient and knowledgeable with helped put us at ease throughout the process. She helped us to find a home that we loved, and she was very skilled when it came time to put in an offer and negotiate. I would be happy to recommend her to anyone buying a home!
I was very satisfied with the help Linda gave me through the process of buying a house. She was very quick with returning emails and phone calls about questions or concerns that I had. I would definitely recommend her.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $225K in Greenville, RI.
As a first-time home buyer, I was very nervous and did not know any agent to contact. I got a few names from my colleagues, but I found Linda on Zillow. I decided to contact her based on numerous good reviews about her on Zillow. I feel that I was very fortunate to find her. She was a very knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated agent. She was the first and the only agent whom I worked with, so I do not have any other agents I can compare. However, I cannot imagine anyone better than her to find my first house in a great neighborhood. She was also very patient with me with many questions, and I truly felt that she was looking for a house as if she was helping to find a house for her own family. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a superb agent with extreme kindness.
Sold a Apartment home in 2013 for approximately $150K in Woonsocket, RI.
After reading the reviews about Linda on this website, my husband called Linda to ask her to list the house he owned in Woonsocket. Linda met with the tenants who lived there, wrote an appraisal, and recommended a competitive listing price. Knowing it was a "seller's market," imagine how pleased we were to receive a contract only eleven days after the house was listed! Because we live in Texas, Linda did many tasks that we would have done had we not lived 1500 miles away. She drove past the vacant house daily to provide security, and she met repairmen and inspectors at the house numerous times to prepare for the closing. Unfortunately my husband met with a fatal accident three weeks before the property was scheduled to close. Additionally, the day before the initial closing date, copper thieves broke in and caused $10,000.00 worth of damage. Linda immediately went to work, meeting with police, assuring the buyers, scheduling repairmen, and securing the property; at one point, she crawled through the basement window because the damaged door would not open. Due to my husband's death, addtional forms had to be filed with the Rhode Island Division of Taxation and the City of Woonsocket to avoid delays and liens. Since Linda has a working relationship with local professionals in all fields she referred me to a CPA and an attorney who filed forms with little notice. Because of Linda's tenacity, communication skills, and professionalism, the house finally closed. I recommend her without reservation to anyone who is looking for a realtor in the State of Rhode Island. If she can accomplish the closing of my husband's house in Woonsocket, there is no task too daunting for her to achieve.

It was a pleasure working with Linda. She was an extremely knowledgeable, personable, patient, and responsive professional throughout the long and oftentimes stressful home buying process. She was never too busy to return a call or to answer any of the many questions I had. She was, by far, the most competent of all the parties involved in my home purchase. To say I highly recommend Linda is an understatement.
