Lori is a very diligent and honest realtor. She was quick to get us any available information on a property we were intested in, including prior sales, comparable, ect. She was happy to go with us to as many properties as we wished and as many times as we wished. Finally, she was very helpful and availble for anything we needed during the closing process. Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $225k in Webster, NY.Summary:
Lori is absolutely the best realtor that we could have asked for. We worked with Lori, on the advice of a friend, on our most recent home purchase and sale. This was the second home that my wife and I have bought and the first time that we had sold a home. Working with Lori really put into perspective how little our previous realtors did for us on our first home purchase and how one of a kind Lori really is.
For instance in the selling of our home Lori gave honest and helpful critques for preparing the home for a showing. She took time out of her schedule to do a lot of open houses and she was present for each open house, she didn't use a "fill-in" person that we have seen at other open houses who are not as informed. She probably did 6-10 open houses in the 3 months that our house was on the market. She also worked with other realtors in the area who had similar houses on the market to coordinate open houses at the same time and day to create a version of a "home-arama" to draw more people into the area and to our house. In addition to that she marketed the home very well with professional home flyers, putting adds into the paper, putting the house on multiple on-line websites and also putting the house onto the weekly Sunday Re-Max home show. In the final negotiation of our home sale Lori drove a hard bargain getting as much as possible, while pushing the terms very much in our favor.
On top of all the work on the sale of our home, Lori also coordinated the purchase of our new home at the same time. Lori was very patient with us as we visted many homes. She set up each appointment and was there for each viewing to give her perspective and opinion. Again Lori negotiated and worked in very favorable terms on the purchase of our new home. She continously stayed on top of all the details for our pending purchase as each milestone came up (home inspection, coordinating with the mortgage company and the lawyers and much more).
Detailed and organized is the best way to describe how Lori works!
Now what is even more incredible is that Lori has continued to help my wife and I even after we completed the purchase and sale of our properties. A few months after all the transactions were completed Lori contacted us again to ensure that we had filed the paperwork to get our tax assessment updated with the town based on the purchase price of our home. She even spoke with the Victor town assessor to figure out the timing for the paperwork and what was needed. Now it's important to note that Lori had already been paid commission on our homes and had no monetary incentive to help us. She's just super nice!
Looking back, Lori was an absolute dream to work with. She organized and coordinated every aspect of the home buying and selling process while still keeping us extremely well informed. This took a lot of stress and pressure off of my wife and me. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than Lori has done with us!…More Less
