My husband and I met a lot of Realtors because we wanted to make sure we were working with only the very best. We finally settled on just one: Bruce Moore. Bruce is patient, particularly given how "picky" I am (a point other realtors lost no time pointing out) and was never pushy or annoyed (in fact, he was amused, if anything). We were first-time buyers, and we could not have been more pleased. Bruce never tried forcing us into picking a house just to make a deal; to the contrary, he says taking the time to find the right place is what he's there for, some of his "oldest" clients have been looking for more than four years now! He is also very responsive and highly effective, regularly scheduling multiple showings on very short notice, even AFTER other realtors failed to set up showings for the same places. He worked with our schedule as well, making himself available on short notice on nights and weekends, and he is an excellent communicator, always giving us advance notice of when he would be out of town and possibly out of contact. Perhaps most importantly, he is genuinely transparent and honest -- I say genuinely, because many claim this but few actually achieve it. We could be assured that when we asked his opinion about anything, he would give us a straight answer every time, for better or for worse, and in the rare cases when he was not 100% sure of something (very rare: he knows Louisville's neighborhoods extremely well), he would do the research and get back to us quickly with a more definite answer. What was most remarkable was that he routinely pointed out not-so-obvious aspects of a property that might prove to be bothersome (e.g., a tight stairway in a Cape Cod making it difficult to put a bed in the upstairs master, or his immediate, accurate impression that an otherwise attractive property was a "cheap flip," before even seeing the inside of it). He is open-minded, adaptable, and able to take into account long lists of prioritized criteria that other realtors would simply dismiss. He is an excellent listener and faithfully sent us MLS listings that seemed to best fit our criteria, as they appeared (and some even went a step beyond what we would have hoped or expected). He showed us time and again that he truly had our best interests at heart, such as when he warned us, after some initial optimism but in the wake of further developments, that a place that looked perfect for us probably had some major hidden issues, as evidenced by some nuances of the sellers' behavior. His intuition proved spot-on, and it saved us a LOT of trouble. I could go on and on, but to cut the story short, I will simply say this: if you are interested in buying a home and want to buy with confidence and be represented by the best of the best, just go talk to Bruce!
Bought a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $175K in Brownsboro Zorn, Louisville, KY.
As a nervous first-time home buyer, I was so appreciative of Bruce's expertise. He helped me through every step of the process, gave honest advice, and took my parents and me to dozens of homes on the weekends, the only time we could see them. He also answered all of our many questions quickly and thoroughly.
I am now very happy in the condo I ended up purchasing. Thanks again, Bruce!
Showed home in 2008 in Crescent Hill, Brownsboro Village, KY 40207.
I used Bruce when I was moving from CA to KY. I had very specific needs and he was able to find the perfect home for my family. He is very easy to work with and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Bruce Moore.
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $100K in Germantown, Louisville, KY.
Bruce is a great all around agent. I was a first time homebuyer when I meet Bruce, he was always on time and very prepared at every house we looked at buying. Did I mention patient, we looked at half of Louisville before finding our perfect match. He was professional and positive throughout the entire process. He was right by my side in the actual closing of the loan and I had and still have the feeling that he was with out a doubt on my side. Bruce worked very hard for me and earned a life long customer because of it. I have recommended Bruce to all of my family and friends and will continue to do so. Happy house hunting to you and with Bruce's experience I know you find your perfect home just like we did!!!
Sold a Condo home in 2010 for approximately $150K in Crescent Hill, Louisville, KY.
I was a first time seller, and bruce made the whole process so much easier for me. He took the time to explain and cummunicate any issues with buying/selling. He was informative and helpful with selling my old home, and finding one that suited me better. Finding a new place was something I had dreaded, but it was actually turned out to be a fairly pleasant experience despite the general upheaval of moving. I would recommend bruce for buying/selling needs
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $150K in Avondale Melbourne Heights, Louisville, KY.
I met Bruce when I went to look at a house I was interested in that I saw online. I was just looking but not seriously because I was scared to buy. Bruce offered his assistance and the next thing I know he has several house for me to look at in a short time. At first I told him I wanted a kitchen with white cabinets but with each house we both learned what else I not only wanted, but what I needed and what I could do without. In a short time he had me believing that buying a house wasn’t scary and the right thing for me to do. Anytime I saw a house online or one he sent me information on that I wanted to see he got me a showing quickly and worked around my schedule. When I walked into the house I now own I knew it was the one and Bruce knew I had to have this house. Not based on my reaction, but based on the list of features I said I was looking for and how much work I could do once I moved in to the home I was going to buy. He gave me advice during negotiations that everyone told me to ignore. I took his advice and it worked out better than what everyone expected. I have been told many times that buying a house shouldn’t have been as easy as it was for me and that I was very lucky. I believe it was because Bruce is an excellent realtor and never pushed me to do anything that wasn’t right for me.
Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Camp Taylor, Louisville, KY.
Though Bruce was less familiar with our neighborhood he was still very good at setting a reasonable price and putting the best potential buyers onto our home as a must see.
Staging our home was definitely one of his expert points. He brought in a professional photography team and staging crew to help us present the home in the very best light. Our home was only shown a few times at the height of the housing bust yet within a few months in early fall we had an offer at near full price.
Bruce was very easy to contact and responsive. He made us feel like we could contact him at anytime during the process, day or night, via multiple routes of communication.
Bruce is very talented realtor with great attitude and customer service comes first for him. He takes time to show properties to his clients without pressurizing them . He is very honest in his opinion and does the right thing for his clients.
