I have over 15 years work experience in communications and research. A native of Birmingham, AL, I received my B.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Mass Communications, specializing in Public Relations. I served our country in the United States Coast Guard Reserves for eight years. My husband currently is an active duty Coast Guardsman and has been stationed in Washington D.C. I am the mother of three, 21, 11, & 9
