My wife and I had been looking at homes in Yucca Valley for quite a while. We had met with several agents, and we were unimpressed to say the least. We called off a flyer that we obtained from the home we purchased. Monica was responsive immediately. She met us at the property that day and showed it to us. We loved her enthusiasm and knowledge of the property and the area. Monica shared with us important information that was not previously disclosed to us by other agents. When we decided to purchase the home, Monica helped us with our lender, and made certain that the offer and the payment was within our comfort zone. We are elderly, and would have had difficulty getting the home ready for our move-in, and the Sellers were out of state owners. I was working with another agent, but we just didn't seem to be a good fit. Then I found Monica and had a stellar experience. I didn't live in the area so I told her what I was looking for and she put a list together of what she thought I may like to look at when I visited. Her knowledge of the area, the values of the properties (not what they were listed at), the process and everything else that is part of a real property transaction are unparalleled. The process was quick and we did everything that we could online, due to my location. She continues to be a resource for me regarding things indicative to the area that I'm not familiar with as of yet. And I'm not just blowing smoke up your skirt.....or pants. If you are looking for THE BEST REAL ESTATE AGENT(s) go no further!! STOP NOW AND CALL Monica and Steve (they are a team). If the scoring system in Zillow had 10 stars rather than 5, that still wouldn’t be sufficient to give Steve and Monica the stellar scores deserved. If you are a buyer (or selling your home) you need to use Realtors that know the local market. Monica and Steve are these agents!
We are looking ahead and preparing for retirement. We live in Washington State and wanted to find a “second home” in the Palm Desert/ Coachella Valley, CA area. Trying to find a home on our own was very difficult given that we were not all that familiar with the Coachella Valley real estate market on a micro level and we were unable to see all inventory in the price range desired. Living out-of-state would have made finding the right property nearly impossible had it not been for Steve. We called Monica based on her high Zillow reviews and within hours Steve was returning our call. He listened intently to our situation, understood our goals and immediately went to work for us as the Buyer’s Agent in helping us find the property that best fit our needs, desires and budget. His expertise of the Palm Desert/Coachella Valley real estate market was instantly notable as he easily shared what the various locations in the valley had to offer. Steve is bright, responsive, and with the right balance of professionalism and quick wit, he made us feel as though we had known him for years. He demonstrated excellent communication skills via the internet as well as by phone with each step of the process. (FYI – Steve also has professional experience in home construction and is willing to share his contacts and connections with his clients. This puts the extra plus in his A++ score!)
Steve not only met but exceeded our expectations of what a Realtor should be. He confirmed his deep and extensive knowledge of the entire home buying process by overseeing and handling all the paperwork and communications with all stakeholders involved, and navigating us through the process of purchasing a home. He displayed a genuine attitude of really working for/with us. He showed patience in getting any information we needed to make an informed decision. He quickly earned our respect with the skills and knowledge base he brought to the table.
We are still impressed with how responsive and thorough Steve is, and how he always follows through with his commitments. Should the need ever arise where we need a real estate agent again, our first and only call will be to Steve and Monica. Probably if you're a local buyer they would be fine but if you're from out of the area as I was you may find the "customer service" ends before the ink is dry. I've spent 3-months trying to get info on who made repairs and finally gave up and contacted the sellers' agent - she got me the info in less than 5-minutes.

Dear unhappy customer, although I appreciate your candor and your frustration, I believe that you have the wrong person. I never spoke to you, showed you any homes, and certainly did not submit any offer on your behalf or see an escrow to fruition. I am sorry to hear that you had difficulty with your transaction prior or after close, but as you can see from my reviews, I cherish every Buyer and Seller, and am happy and dedicated to walk them through the entire process, especially after the ink has dried.
