The 'zestimate' is usually based on the square footage given on the Dallas tax records (see DallasCAD.org). It would include only the main structure of the house. Please don't rely on these 'zestimates' as an accurate market value of your home. They are typically off more than 10% and do not take into account factors such as busy street proximity, schools, current condition of the property, etc. They are simply based on area tax values.
Unfortunately, you may not like your options. However, you can:- hire a Realtor to sell your property and take a loss (meaning you may have to write a check at closing to get rid of the house).- contact your lender about a 'short sale' of your home. You'll need a Realtor here as well. Basically the bank agrees to take an amount 'short' of what you owe on the property. This can be a lengthy process.- let the bank foreclose on the property.- stay put until the market turns around.
Why not take your own photo and upload it? If this is your home (or you are an agent with it listed for sale), you can claim it and add your own pictures.
Zillow is not a Multiple Listing Service. A property for sale is only listed when an agent or owner posts it on this site. The MLS number is only listed if the agent added it in. Go to a site like Realtor.com or the site of a brokerage in your area for MLS information.
There are no homes on Candlewood Place currently for sale. If you are searching for a home to purchase, contact an agent or search online at www.virginiacook.com
Zillow bases their 'zestimates' on several factors - not all of which are accurate. For example, they sometimes use a radius search for similar homes. So a home on a busy major road located a half mile from a home on a quiet cul de sac would follow the same price/value considerations. It has been reported that the 'zestimates' are only within 10% of the true value of the home less than half the time. For a true estimate of your home's value, contact a Realtor or an appraiser.
In addition to a real estate attorney, make sure the buyers have their financing in order. Have you had an indenpendent appraisal to ensure you are getting the full value of the property? Also, think twice before owner financing. Eviction is usually easier than foreclosure.
I am a Realtor in Dallas (not Houston). You need to contact a Houston Realtor. You can not purchase a home with a credit card (unless the title company wants to work something out with you). All transfer of land in Texas requires legal documents to be signed by both buyer and seller. There are also real esate laws pertaining to non-citizen buyers.Just search on this site for a buyer's agent in Houston. Good Luck.
