      READ THIS REVIEW...BECAUSE I PAUSED AND REALLY SPENT SOME TIME TO SHARE A STORY, NOT JUST A REVIEW: Lynda has a first class team that guides you through the daunting journey of selling your (or in this case, your mother's) house - and the MVP on her team for us was Listing Specialist Hortencia Moreno. Write her name down and make the request if you need someone who puts the up-front effort to listen to the situation, empathizes, frames it in market-based context, establishes a tailored ongoing education and communication relationship with both the "seller" (son) and "owner" (mother)...and then relentlessly works for you to help you package your offering, find buyers, sagely set negotiation parameters, and navigate you through the often dramatic, emotion-laden "last mile" of negotiations toward closure. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Hortencia. If I could hack this website, I would give her 6 stars.

      Boulder Bay was one of several recommendations I pursued for my mother's Hobart, IN listing...with the challenges of traveling as best I could from Atlanta in the Midwest's worst winter in decades. I was committed to thoroughly vet the field, though. Lynda's approach of seller-education over chest-beating track records from their competition separated them from the field right from the start. Boulder Bay consulted. The others "sized you up".

      The education you receive from Boulder Bay (guides, prep checklists, what to expect, "the process" of buying or selling) first gives you a sense of empowerment. You could take your complimentary education elsewhere, but why? All of them had a track record, but this up-front education and integrity made me feel like we had a partner, not just an agency.

      Lynda's "team" did mean in our case that you were going to primarily interact with a team member rather than Lynda herself. A little alarmed about that at first, I was quickly put at ease when we met with Hortencia...but could always reach upward to Lynda herself whenever needed. My only urgent escalations to Lynda were to alert her of the great work from Hortencia.

      My key chronological journey points can't differ that much from your journey ahead. Hortencia delivered, and you should expect from your agent:

      1. Response and Engagement - Lynda assigns, Hortencia calls, we meet before leaving for Atlanta...under 48 hours.

      2. Empathy and Personalization - Hortencia takes the time to listen to the selling listing "situation". There are personal and grounding dynamics/timing around every pursuit and listing of a home. She recognized and empathized with the specific dynamics and notably wove those into every phase of our listing and sale.

      3. Professionalism, Positioning and Persistence - The "Into The Ring" phase, you will take your agreed-upon listing price (based on full knowledge of your "competition"...listings and on-the-market time frames like you, near you) and watch Hortencia do her job. She will be in constant contact with you. But Boulder Bay will also notify you via text of every scheduled showing or related event. And of note, Hortencia will anticipate and inform you of anything that sits outside of a database that helps personalize the buyer and seller journey.

      4. Closure - By now, you have your faith in Hortencia and the great Boulder Bay staff facilitating the close, She feverishly negotiates the final requests, gets verbal buy-in from all parties (well done, Hortencia!), and lines up a straightforward close meeting with the BoulderBay team legal partners, and counterparts, while offering up her cell speakerphone for me to participate as PoA for my Mother. My mother likes Hortencia. My mother likes the buyers upon this first and only meeting. I like hearing a very smooth closing. I think of the word, "Professional".

      Responsive, curious, engaged, empathetic, diplomatic, savvy, realistic, consultative, adaptable, professional - if I were forced to choose one word from this list to describe Hortencia Moreno, my answer would be "yes".

      Selling or buying a home is a very emotional and financially substantial event in our lives, or in this case (and to an extent even MORE emotional) a dependent's life. I felt compelled to share this with everyone because they exceeded expectations in such a critical situation. I hope you found our story helpful.
