Showed home in 2009 in Millican, Bend, OR 97701.

I contacted Lynne about a property she had listed in 2009 and decided to make a full price offer. Lynne suggested that I offer a lower amount and was going to assign another realtor from her office to help write my offer letter. I decided that if there was no discount for dealing directly with the seller's agent it would be in my best interest to hire my own realtor. Upon doing this another offer came in for the full asking price from another client she was working directly with. She refused to accept another higher counter-offer and that buyer ending up purchasing the property at the asking price. My experience with Lynne would cause me to caution any potential client from working with her due to what I perceive as an extreme lack of integrity and honesty.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you had a negative experience. There is 1 listing I had in 2009 in which I represented both the buyer & the seller. It was a short sale. It went on the market 3/30, my clients made an offer 4/8 and that offer was finally approved and closed September 24. Since I represented the buyers who had an offer in to the bank, I could not ethically represent you as well & must have suggested another agent in my office to represent you. You were wise to get your own agent, whether someone in my office or another office. You could have made a back-up offer, but only one offer can be submitted to the bank in short sales. Whether your offer was a lower offer, full price or higher, it could not be submitted to the bank unless the first offer terminated. The short sale process is painful, and fortunately distressed properties are only about 15% of our market compared to 60% in 2009. I do hope you found the perfect home with the perfect agent for you.
