Margaret's willingness to do whatever is needed to complete a real estate transaction is extraordinary. She is very professional, forthright, and knowledgeable.
It is easy to find a REALTOR who will tell you what you want to hear to get a listing, write up an MLS listing, and then tell you that the only way to sell/rent the home is to lower the price. Margaret does her homework upfront, gives you an informed opinion, and then works hard to close the deal. Sold a home in 2011.Summary:
Margaret was referred to me through a friend who highly recommended her. She did not disappoint.
When we first met I was impressed with the homework Margaret had done on the market value of my home, demonstrating a range in value and where she thought my neighborhood was trending. She also provided excellent advice on how to make it more marketable.
Buyers know it is a “buyers market” and feel they have control of the process. After the contract was signed, the buyer’s agent tried to renegotiate the deal twice. Margaret was invaluable to the negotiating process. She was calm yet firm with the buyer’s agent, keeping me up to speed and advising me on creative solutions.
Though her efforts she kept the contract at its original price and the whole process from listing to settlement was about 45 days. I found Margaret to be trustworthy, communicative and truly looked out for me. For anyone who is looking for an agent they can depend on and take a lot of the worry/stress of them. She presented us with ideas that we would have never thought of, explained things in terms that made it so simple to understand, and completely put us at ease throughout the whole process… from looking at houses, to pointing out pros and cons, to sitting down with us to write our contract, all the way through closing.
