Jackie was the second real estate agent we worked with, and we are so happy we chose the make a change. Jackie was very responsive and extremely patient in helping us find our first home. We never felt pressure from her to purchase something we were not sure about despite having looked at several homes. Her insight on homes and ideas on how to make a home fit our needs were great advice. She was always availabe when you needed her and you never felt like just another client. She made it a point to get to know you. She was absolutely amazing, and we will definately recommend her to family and friends!!

Showed home in 2011 in Schaumburg, IL 60193.

My husband and I had one visit of homes with Sarah, and the experience was okay. She didn't really walk around the homes with us to show us aspects of the home that were great features, and other things that we could change to our liking during renovations. We decided to go out on another visit with her and gave her a list of homes approximately a week in advance that we wanted to see. We had asked her to let us know which ones were scheduled and where to meet the day before. The day before the meeting, we received emails saying a few of the homes were sold already and that a few of them would not let us see the house unless we have a letter from a bank's showing our pre-approval amount, which was our first flag. My husband let her know that one of those homes we were really interested in. She said if you hurry and put in an offer in with two days max, we can get considered. The day of the visit we did not hear from her regarding our appointments. I contacted her early morning and she said that she would get back to me after the home inspection she was at was over. We did not hear from her until late afternoon that she could no longer make it due to unforseen circumstances, but at that point we were not happy. We contacted a different agent and have began working with her. Interesting to note, we saw all of the homes with her even the ones that were "under contract" and "needed a pre-approval letter" with no problem. Sarah seems more interested in making a sale as fast as possible then what her clients' needs are. We are happy we did not rush to put in an offer on a home that was "under contract."

I'm so sorry you feel that way. The reason that it is important to get pre-approved is to confirm that the bank will lend you that amount of money you'll need to purchase a home in the price point you are looking. I always tell my clients if I show you a house and you LOVE it and then you talk to a lender and you cannot afford it or they don't feel you're qualified to that amount, then I am not doing my job. It takes about 5 minutes over the phone. You don't have to go through the formal approval process at this point nor are you committing to working with this lender; you are just confirming that you are looking at homes within your budget. Thank you for your feedback.
