Sold a home in 2013.
I have bought and sold over a dozen properties with Marcia, including my principle residence which My Wife and I bought with Marcia in 1998. Like all business transactions and escrows there is always unforeseen problems that occur, Marcia is great at being calm and cool while finding a way problem solve and bring people together to find solutions that all can live with. She is thoughtful, kind and protects her clients interest fiercely, I' trust Marcia and am proud to call her my agent!!

Sold a home in 2013.
Marcia was great! Always very responsive and was very good at helping us through a long-distance sale. We have moved from the San Diego area and Marcia was most helpful in getting our house on the market and SOLD.

Bought a home in 2012.
Working with Marcia was an absolute delight. She took the time to learn what was most important to us in a home and showed us locations which felt very clearly tailored to our needs. We love our new home!

Showed home in 2003 in Winter Gardens, Lakeside, CA 92040.
She is nice, and I am sure she will be an excellent representative for you. But after viewing a number of suburban condos situated in a densely populated area between two 7-11s that are only a mile apart in Lakeside, she insisted that Lakeside was a rural community. We said, Huh? Sure, it has a (very cool) rodeo grounds, but with suburban condos and a 7-11 right across the street. And a suburban high school right next to the rodeo grounds. And yes we moved there, and yes in fact, it is a very nice suburban place with a really fun rodeo as a sweet bonus.

But as people from rural California, we could not parse this rhinestone cowgirl insistence that Lakeside is a rural community. (We later came to understand, many people who live in Lakeside also believe that they live in a rural community. Something they talk about this while shoppings at Von's, Albertsons, or eating at the KFC and McDonalds.) So long story short, we went with another agent because we did not understand the Lakeside culture. And that is probably more on us than her, as it turns out, because the whole community seems to suffer the same delusion, which at the end of the day is not really such a big deal after all. It is a very nice suburban community nevertheless.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $325K in Santee, CA.
My husband, Roberto, and I were delighted to have met Marcia Parkes, Century 21 Realtor Agent. We were absolutely overwhelmed at the start of the Short Sale process; however, Ms. Parkes provided us with a quality of service, and her patience with us and our tenants made the entire process much easier to deal with. Ms. Parkes attention to detail, her professionalism, and her prompt responses of uploading of all documents into the on a timely manner made our experience a pleasure of doing business with Ms. Parkes. We especially appreciate the sale of our property in such a short time, and we would always recommend her excellent services to our community.
