My husband and I were first time buyers using a VA loan and connected with Norma through the USAA MoversAdvantage program. Norma asked us about the type of property we were looking for and the neighborhoods we liked, and we were able to send her some examples that we had found online. Norma set up access for us on the MLS portal and we were able to reject or save listings within hours of them coming on the market. She was always very prompt to respond (usually within an hour of being contacted), and was generally able to secure showings for us within a day. On several occasions, she even previewed houses for us to let us know her thoughts on whether it would be a good fit for us. In total we saw more than 30 properties with Norma and submitted 4 offers, all of which were multiple offer situations (up to 21 competing offers), and three of which were countered. She provided excellent guidance on how to tailor each offer to the current sellers, and never pressured us to go above what we were comfortable paying for each property. Due to the fact that we were using a VA loan, we were not as competitive as other buyers out there (especially those paying all or a substantial amount in cash), but Norma never lost hope for us and was incredibly positive throughout the experience. After the 4th offer we submitted, Norma was contacted by some of her previous clients about selling their current home. Norma knew the property had almost everything we were looking for, told the homeowners about us, and asked for their consent to show us the property before it officially went on the market. She acted as a dual agent, performed thorough due diligence and had multiple outside parties review the transaction to make sure that she was acting with the best interest of all parties. It is my firm belief that we would not have successfully bought a home that met our needs so well had we not had Norma as our realtor.

Sold a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $450K in West Central, Pasadena, CA.

Norma and her team were amazing to work with. I was selling a condo from out of state and Norma went above and beyond to coordinate the logistics of handymen, contractors, inspectors etc. Her knowledge of how to price the property and how to negotiate got me a deal that was far better than anything I could have hoped for and she made the process extremely easy and smooth.
