Peter provided outstanding service to us and to others in the sale of our house in a very difficult market. His thoroughness and expertise in pricing the property, organizing the marketing and following up with potential buyers left absolutely nothing to chance. He worked diligently with the bank, buyer realtors, escrow, county officials and ourselves making sure that all procedures were followed, everyone participated in a timely manner, and that the sale process moved ahead. Bought a Condo home in 2012 in San Rafael, CA.
My husband and I offered Peter Nielsen a very difficult task! We bought property in Marin County while currently living in New York. While I am a native Marinite who has owned several owner-occupied and rental properties in Mill Valley, Fairfax, and San Anselmo, and thus worked with several agents; I have never worked with a more responsive, detail oriented, go the extra mile sort of real estate professional. Peter was in direct communication with our lender when we couldn't be. He always returned calls, emails, and documents immediately. Peter was so patient and thorough that our confidence in him enabled us to stay on course even through a death in the family and medical emergencies. We would recommend Peter Nielsen without hesitation and plan to utilize his expertise on future purchases. He listens and is flexible as well as analytical and thorough. We are so pleased with our recent purchase! He has even watered the plants until we can arrive! Thank you, Peter, you are outstanding.

Peter Neilsen is a good friend and and excellent realtor. When I joined a Marin firm and needed housing, Peter assisted me in finding the perfect condo in the perfect location at the perfect price. (One I could afford.) When I retired from the firm some years later, Peter helped me find the perfect buyer, willing to meet my selling price. His advice upon buying is only exceeded by his knowledge in attracting buyers upon selling. Hello,
I have purchased a home with Peter and sold two homes with him. I have been 100% satisfied with his service in all my dealings with him. He is always polite, calm, and knowledgable. I am a demanding client, and he always responded promptly to my communications and addressed escrow business expediently. Peter was always honest and applied excellent judgment. One of my escrows was a very difficult short sale, with 2 different lenders. It was a very long process, and Peter was diligent and stayed with it to the very end; even though the commission was small. You will enjoy working with Peter, especially if you like calm, non-pressuring, expert real estate agents!
When I told Peter I needed to purchase a home in Petaluma, he told me he had not done any business in that area but was willing to take on the task. In no time at all Peter became very acquainted with the Petaluma area. He found a perfect number of home for sale that met my requirements. Within a week, Peter found my current home and negotiated a price that fit very well with my budget.
I would use Peter again if I needed a realtor.
