Marissa has a long background of working with children, from volunteering at Kapiolani Hospital in the cancer ward, to working at camps for children with special needs. She has also taught in Pearl City, Kalihi, and Hawaii Kai which has given her a personal and meaningful experience in each community.
Marissa earned her bachelors degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in elementary and special education. As an educator, her goal is to make this process easy for you and to answer any questions you may have.
Marissa truly appreciates the beauty of the Hawaiian islands and the lifestyle that comes along with it. She wants nothing more than to share that lifestyle with the people around her.
During free time she loves to be outside, hiking and camping on the many beautiful trails that Hawaii has to offer.
