Mark really took great care of me during this process. Being a first-time home buyer and a newbie to the great northwest, I was full of questions and knew this would put me at a disadvantage with a potential seller. I had heard the stereotype of the pushy self-serving agent. Never dealing with a real estate agent before, I wasn't sure who to trust. Needless to say Mark broke the mold. He's much more than a real estate agent - he's a real estate expert and as such, a patient teacher, a gifted communicator, and an outstanding resource. Mark was incredibly patient with me, playing the role of teacher on everything from neighborhoods to building materials; drainage to pest control; and other common issues in the Northwest. He did this while preparing me for the reality of the responsibilities and unforeseen pitfalls of buying and maintaining a home. He referred me to an excellent, reliable, and meticulous financial expert that wrapped up my mortgage and got the deed into my hands within a matter of 1.5 months. He stood up for me when the seller’s real estate agent tried to back away from standard repairs. What really stood out, however, was his ability to open-mindedly listen to what I really wanted in a home. He found the best fit, and ultimately a great deal and not once did he pressure me into buying, he waited patiently for me to say “Yes, this is it!” He does business with integrity and is an accountable and pleasant person to work with. I am truly grateful for having him as my agent and while I do not plan to move for some time I will use him if I ever sell my home.

We worked with Mark Murray for buying our new home. He has an amazing eye for detail. He does an excellent job of communicating the overall process of buying and the steps that the process has to go through, as usual.

There were a few iterations of offer/counteroffers which he handled very well. Also, there were some financing delays from the lender side that cropped up, which he was able to work with all the involved parties and move forward smoothly.

Overall, we were extremely happy with Mark's work. We appreciate his help in making us move into our new home.
