Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $375K in Ten Hills, Baltimore, MD.

We moved to England, and had to sell our house from afar. Mark was superb! We put it on the market in January, and closed on the sale by April. It is an old house, and needed a number of repairs. Mark negotiated with the buyers, and we had to repair only a few things, which Mark took care of from start to finish. And he took FABULOUS pictures of the house. I can't recommend him more highly!! Thank you Mark!!!!

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $150K in Abingdon, MD.

I found Mark through this very review section a few months back and after a quick meeting to get a feel for him and his process I was done auditioning agents.

I explained that I would be a first time home buyer and that I had NO idea what I was doing or what I was getting myself into. But after laying all my concerns out, Mark was able to explain the whole process very easily and quickly. He started me on his MLIS search page which sent me new listings to my email as soon as they were posted, sometimes I would get listings 2 days before they were posted to Zillow which I think was a real leg up. And we started looking at potential houses a few days later.

He knew all of my preferences and was happy to let me tour any of the places within my preferred area and price range. I should mention that my price range was pretty low, which didn't stop Mark from treating me like the only buyer in town. He was always available for a quick phone call or email and always answered my questions immediately and completely. And believe me, I had a lot of questions at odd times of the day.

After a while we found a great little place that was well within my price range and in the best possible location for me. We made an offer and it was approved! It was only on the market for about 4 days. The seller wanted it off their hands in one month which meant we had to hurry. That didn't phase Mark, he was on top of every single aspect and was keeping the ball rolling for the whole month.

He recommended excellent inspectors who looked my place over from top to bottom for a very fair price and provided me with a very complete run down of what to expect from my new home, and gave me lots of advice for keeping the place up.

**The big day** Closing day came, and after a final walk through of the house we were off to the title company Mark recommended to take care of me. They were great, explained everything I had to sign and why, and they were very professional. The whole process was as painless as could be. After handing over the key to my new place Mark gave me a gift to celebrate with. A very nice bottle of champagne, and because he knows me better than I thought he did, an exceptionally nice bottle of whiskey.

Technically Mark has performed his duty, and most other agents would collect their commission and hit the road. I'm STILL working with Mark because my house appraised for less than the county tax assessment values it at. During the closing proceedings Mark told me that he would work with me to have my property assessment lowered and capped to reduce my property taxes on my new house. How about that for service?! The guy is still working to keep my bills low!

All in all he's been a breeze to work with. He made a difficult process much simpler than I thought it could be and found me an awesome starter house in a great neighborhood for way less than my original budget. He's always available to answer questions and treated me like I was the only guy buying a house in the state.

What's not to love?

He's a young guy so I'm hoping he's still selling houses in 6-8 years when I'm ready to upgrade. He'll be getting my business again for sure.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $200K in Belcamp, MD.

Due to the guidelines of my divorce, I was required to pick a selling agent that I had no prior knowledge of. I randomly picked Mark as my agent and am beyond thankful that I did! He has been absolutely fantastic through the whole short sale process. He has always been completely professional and considerate especially when my patience was wearing thin. I am looking foward to working with Mark when purchasing my next home. Mark is the best!!

Bought a Townhouse home in 2013 for approximately $225K in Baltimore, MD.

My fiancé and I began looking for our first home around May 2012 with no direction and zero knowledge of the home buying process. Without Mark’s guidance, support, and knowledge I am sure we would still be looking for a new home or renewing are apartment lease. Needless, to say Mark was truly a blessing as we were able to close on a home that had been completely rehabbed with brand-new everything in a well respected county in Baltimore. More importantly he got us the exact deal we had been hoping for! But, enough about our home and on to Mark- Mark embodies all of the qualities that not only make up a professional, but a genuinely good person. His authenticity and genuineness are what separates him from being a great agent to an outstanding agent, and something I found comforting while he was working for me, as well as respected from a personal standpoint. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Mr. Novak he really was that good. Mark Novak = Real Estate JEDI. Yes, a Star Wars reference!

Sold a home in 2012 in Magnet, Conyers, GA 30013.

Mark has been my realtor for many years. He got me in my Edgewood, MD condo in 2006, but unfortunately, in 2010 I lost my job (laid off) and couldn't afford it anymore. Two years had pass and no work. Mark worked deligently with Bank of America (which we all know can be difficult at times) to settle on shortsale deal. There were times when I was so fed up and wanted to just go ahead and file bankruptcy. Mark said "no" - it would affect my credit worse than a shortsale. Mark never lost hope that he could get it done and always kept a good vibe. At the end, Mark was able to get three liens released and negotiated down without future payment. Yes! $150K+ is now off my records and off my shoulders. Plus a little refund in my pocket.

Bought a Townhouse home in 2012 for approximately $200K in Joppa, MD.

Mark did a great job for us in acquiring a property in Joppatowne. He was always there when we had questions and guided us thru the process painlessly. Did you ever meet someone and feel like you have known them for years.....well, that's Mark. He showed us this property a number of times and never made us feel that we were infringing on his time and I feel he gave us his honest opinion on certain things of concern that came up during the process. We would certainly not hesitate to contact Mark for future real estate needs.....thanks Mark!!!!!
