Very flexible - found a better deal at the 11th hour and was able to pull the original and close at nearly a full point lower rate. If you know what you're talking about, and have the numbers to back it up, Martin's the man.

For full disclosure, I have yet to make a financing decision, as I am still looking for a house. That being the case, I can only speak to the pre-approval experience I have had with Martin. (I have selected that I have closed my loan with Martin because I will likely do so, if the final rate quote I receive makes sense.)

Now that we have that out of the way?

The quote I received from Martin was fairly average from a rate perspective, but excellent from a fees or closing costs standpoint. All total, the quote was certainly a better value than most. That being the case, I took the next step and went to visit Martin for a pre-approval, and to discuss financing options.

I believe Martin to be a nice guy, the type of person you wouldn?t mind as a neighbor. He is also straightforward and honest. He took the time to explain the process to me, and even showed me how my rate would ultimately be calculated once I was under contract and locked a rate.

I can unequivocally recommend Martin for consideration if you are shopping for a mortgage. If he has given you a quote, you should take the next steps and see what he has to say.
