Professional Experience

I have been a full time full service realtor and a strong listing agent in Silicon Valley's Santa Clara County since 1990.  I am a Real Estate Broker with experience in traditional and distressed home sales.  My first experience with short sales occurred in the early 90's.  I have used that experience to successfully market and sell homes in the various markets throughout my career.   I have worked with numerous loss mitigators and negotiators on my short sale listings and have successfully negotiated short sale approval on all of them.  If you are looking to sell a traditional home with equity or a distressed property, I am here to help!

Professional Achievements and Goals

In 2008, I earned the California Association of Realtors Graduate, Realtor Institute, a nationally recognized GRI real estate designation.  To earn the GRI designation, you must complete an intensive 14 course series of live lecture courses designed to improve marketing and negotiating skills, learn the latest in technology, provide an understanding of the new disclosures and legal aspects of real estate, and become familiar with the latest trends in financing; all designed to assist the graduate of this program to provide the best service to the consumer. 

I continue to keep current on programs and courses designed to help me assist homeowners with Foreclosure Avoidance and Alternatives to Foreclosure for Short Sales.  In 2011, I completed two certification courses for distressed property owners and was able to obtain the highly sought after CDPE Certification (Certified Distressed Property Foreclosure Avoidance for Short Sales) and HAFA Certification (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives) for homeowners with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans.   

In addition, I have worked closely with employee relocation services since 1995.  In 2010, I completed re-certification courses with Client Service ILM & Relocation through Intero Real Estate Services.

I met Mary Squire and told her what I was looking for in a house -- She quickly came back to me with a number of homes that were in my price range and we started the process of determining which one would fit my wife and I best. Then I got a call from Mary about a short sale that was coming on the market. Because Mary knows the area so well and has close relationships in the marketplace she was one of the first people to know about this offering. She quickly set up an appointment for me to see the house and it was exactly what we were looking for - Right house - Right yard - Right neighborhood. Then I really got to see Mary shine as she helped us through each step of a very complicated process - Her professionalism was impressive and we were able to purchase our current home -- If you are looking for a home anywhere from South San Jose to Gilroy (especially Morgan Hill/ Gilroy) I have to recommend you speak with Mary before you even start the process -- In doing so I think you will save yourself a lot of time and stress. She will provide you all the tools you need to find the place that fits you best and make what could have been a stressful process exciting and fun. Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $875K in Gilroy, CA.

Mary helped us buy our new home. She patiently showed us numerous homes and never tried to rush us into a home before we were ready. Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Morgan Hill, CA.

Mary has good relationships with other realtors and is able to get solid information regarding listed properties quickly and accurately. Her upfront work made my offer easy and efficient to make. I was able to sign counter offers, acknowledgements and approvals electronically, saving me time and travel. She was always on time for appointments and was able to fit me into her schedule.
