How do I cancel a saved loan request search? The emails are driving me nuts :)

Answer
Make sure you are signed in under your confirmed lender account.  Go to Lender Home http://www.zillow.com/mortgage/LenderHome.htm then under the Saved Searches section, click the white X in the blue box to the right of the Saved Search you want to delete.

are the mortgage rates on zillow better than bankrate.com?

Answer
Good question. Mortgage rates on Zillow differ from rates reported elsewhere in many ways:Up-to-the-second rates:  Rates on Zillow reflect what consumers are getting RIGHT NOW, while others have pretty significant delays in their rate reporting. Yesterday's or last week's rates are insignificant, since borrowers can't get those rates today--they are gone.  Real rates:  Rates on Zillow are from real quotes being given to borrowers. They are not just the typical “marketing rates” that are frequently published in newspapers and on many Web sites.Best rate for you:  Most importantly, you can shop for the best rate on Zillow Mortgage Marketplace, by anonymously submitting a loan request and instantly receiving lots of customized quotes from a network of thousands of lenders (not just 3 or 4).  Give it a try and see first-hand if the quotes you get on Zillow are better that what you can get elsewhere.  And please report back here—we'd love to hear about your experience.

30 yr refinance rate

Answer
You can check current, up-to-the minute rates in Zillow Mortgage Marketplace: http://www.zillow.com/Mortgage_Rates/  or from any page, just hover on the Mortgage tab and click the Mortgage Rates link from the drop-down.  Once on the Rates page, you can use the filters on the left side to match your current situation (loan type, credit rating, % down, location) to get a better sense of the rates that are applicable to you.  When you are ready, you can then (anonymously) fill out a loan request to get your own custom loan quotes.  Start with the mini-form below the chart on the Mortgage Rates page, or click the Get Custom Quotes link in the Mortgage tab on any page.
