Sold a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $175K in El Cajon, CA.
I highly recommend Matt O’Brien as your next real estate professional. I truly appreciated the assistance with the sale of my awesome condo in Rancho San Diego. He is very friendly and personable and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again in future. I appreciated all of his hard work, dedication, and most of all patience throughout the escrow process. Although my 1 bdrm 1 ba condo was awesome and in a great neighborhood with awesome amenities he made it look like a top-notch resort with his marketing/ photography and video tour. He made me not want to leave; although, my family has grown and we need more space.
I appreciated him representing me and looking out for my best interest although he had to work with some not so gracious real estate “professionals.” My family was able to relocate in a timely manner with his guidance and timely updates. He always told me the hard facts and leaving the fluff out and not painting a pretty picture when things weren’t always so pretty. He was always accessible and worked Monday thru Sunday with the end goal in mind. I appreciate that!

Effortless. We could not have asked for anyone better to help us sell our condo.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Morena, San Diego, CA.
A year prior to putting our condominium on the market we met with Matt to interview him to explain our requirements for us to consider using him as our agent. We made it clear that we would be working on a very tight schedule. Matt assured us that he was able and willing to work with us.
Once we decided that it was time to sell we called Matt to list our property. Our experience from the beginning to the end in selling our condo in 2012 with Matt as our agent was the right one as he is very personable, professional, pays attention to detail, and is the best when it come to following through and keeping you informed during the entire process.
This became evident when our property went into escrow and a few glitches got in the way. He kept on top of the process contacting the escrow company, loan officer, buyer’s agent or whoever needed to keep the process going and to avoid “things” falling between the cracks.
He called everyday to update us on what was going on even if there was nothing to report. We fondly called it the daily “Matt Attack” and with a lot of hard work on his part escrow closed. If we were to consider buying or selling another property we would definitely call Matt and recommend him to any one that is looking for a real estate agent.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Santee, CA.
My husband and I could not have been happier with Matt as our agent. We began our home search with a different agent, whose name I shall not mention, and while she was nice she just didn't connect with us. When we ran across Matt, we knew from the start he was the right fit for us. He was patient, practical, and always very honest. He put up with my constant phone calls and emails-I don't think there was a day that went by that we didn't communicate in one way or another. As a first time home buyer with a thousand questions, I can not thank Matt enough for always being available, knowledgeable, and helpful when I would be blowing up his phone. His commitment to his job is obvious in everything that he does, and I always felt like he was putting our needs at the top of his priority list-He even wrote our the offer for what is now our home over Christmas, talk about dedication!! (We now refer to the house as our Christmas present) I have and will continue to recommend Matt when anyone is looking for a real estate agent.

Our experience selling our home in 2012 with Matt as agent, was excellent. Having dealt with other realtors in the past, Matt is very professional, knowledgable of the market, pays attention to detail, is thorough and detail oriented,patient, and experienced. Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $450K in Serra Mesa, San Diego, CA.
My husband and I have moved quite a few times in the last 21 years. This last move was our biggest one, moving across country from Virginia to California. Of all the realtors we’ve worked with, Matt definitely out-shown them all. We had one week in San Diego to find a house. Every day that week, Matt picked me up at the hotel and spent at least 4-6 hours a day driving me around to look at homes, while my husband started his new job. Never once did I feel hurried and Matt never dropped me off at the hotel without first making sure I knew what the plan would be for the next day. He listened to all my comments and did his best to meet the criteria we had set. Being sensitive to the fact we were new to the area not only did he point out the pros and cons of the homes we looked at, but also the area or community it was located in.
Truly a professional, Matt works through every detail with you and we came to trust him and his expertise. He is very personable, patient and thoughtful. I am a plant lover and I was always making a fuss over the beautiful “bird-of-paradise” plants in the area. One day he dropped off a “bird-of-paradise” at our house so I would have one in our new garden.
If you want an agent who really cares about finding the home you will be happy with, who is always available (and I mean always) Matt is your man!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $275K in Santee, CA.
Matt worked with my husband and I for over 8 months to try and find the perfect house that wasn't too much work to move into but of course met our budget (which was pretty tight). We immediately learned that Matt is a very hard worker and very passionate about his work. We were first time home buyers and had lots of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently (as we may have asked some of them more than once). He is a very honest, up front, knowledgable, and throrough agent and I wish there were more of him in the business. I would reccomend Matt to anyone who was looking for an agent as I have only good things to express about our experience as Matt being our agent.

Matt is awesome! As first time home buyers we had no idea where to even start. Matt walked us through the process from start to finish. I appreciated that he took the extra time to explain all the details in terms we actually understood. He was always easy to contact and very prompt with his responses. He also was extremely professional; We had his undivided attention when out viewing properites. Long story short, you won't be disappointed if you choose to work with Matt!!

I was impressed by your knowledge of the San Diego Real Estate Market. The home I finally acquired never had a “For Sale” sign posted. But your involvement didn’t stop at the words “I’ll take it”. Bought a home in 2012.
Excellent!!!! My family is a first time home buyer. We just got our property two weeks ago. It will not be closed without Matt's patience and expertise. Matt walked us through the entire process and made things very easy to comprehend. It took us 6 months and around 50 houses to find what we want.
Matt is very impressive and professional. He knows the ins and outs of the entire process. He is very honest and hardworking.
