When I was buying a house, Matthew was the agent that I went with. Once we started looking, he steered me to a house that I eventually bought. Problems arose, however, because he decided to represent both myself (the buyer) and the seller of the property (as he was the listing agent). Once we signed the paperwork saying that I would buy the house, communication abruptly stopped. Days passed and he would not contact me to let me know what was going on with regards to the house or the closing. The day of closing, he called to tell me that it was going to happen that evening. After I signed the appropriate papers and paid the down payment, communication once again stopped. He did not return messages and it took several days before I was able to take possession of the house. When I did, the house was a WRECK! A stressful and irritating transaction from beginning to end.
