Matthew Royal is a very knowledgeable mortgage guy. When it came time to purchase a new home, I had no idea how many changes had occurred in the mortgage/home buying industry since my last home buying experience more than a decade ago. There are a lot more ins and outs involved now, even for someone with good credit. So, it was especially nice to have someone like Matthew Royal explain things to me in simple, understandable language, and walk me through the home buying process. In fact, he made the whole mortgage process a lot more easy to understand and a lot less stressful for me. After buying two homes previously we thought all lenders were the same... We had a friend refer us to Matt Royal and he changed our perception. From application to close he was clear and concise; he answered any and all questions quickly, kept us informed and up to date at each step, advised us the best time to lock in our rate and got us to closing in 3 weeks. Just recently refinanced my home thru Service First Mortgage. This was the third time of refinancing my home and by far was the fastest and easiest refinance process I have experienced. Working with Matt Royal throughout the process was an excellent experience. He was very responsive every time I called asking questions and seemed to have a vast knowledge of the process.
