Bought a Single Family home in 2010 in Bainbridge Island, WA.Summary:
My husband and I spent almost a year looking at houses on Bainbridge Island with Ed, Marueen's other half in life and in real-estate. Ed and Maureen were SO patient and knowledgable. They told us when something I was really interested in wasn't a good fit for us and why, they helped us with the mortgage process AND they even helped entertain my 2 year old as we looked at house after house! Eventually when I was due with our 2nd in just a few months, we had to pull the trigger and Ed got us in contract with a house that Ed found for us which met EVERY one of the top criteria on our list. Ed and Maureen were so incredibly honest and forthright with us that I knew whatever advice they gave me I could take to the bank. Their experience in the industry and their desire to make it happen and make it right is nearly unparalelled. I have family in the industry and I STILL chose to work with Buckley and Buckley. That is a real testiment to the quality of their work. Hands down I'll use them again or refer them to anyone in need of a home here on Bainbridge. They are one of the reasons we felt we made the right decision to move here. They embody all that is wonderful about this little island! Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $325k in Bainbridge Island, WA.Summary:
"I placed my home on the market at a tough time for sellers: May 2010. As a consequence, I had to lower my price expectations several times before selling in late 2011, but Maureen guided me through this progression with good information about current markets. Moreover, she went out of her way to help me make the needed repairs and improvements to the property at the outset so that the house was, in fact, marketable and a good buy. No seller enjoys pumping money into such up-front costs, and certainly no seller enjoys riding the market down until the appropriate price point is reached to close a sale. Maureen's guidance and persistent presentation of the house - including her touches to make the home look inviting - were indispensable to me. Apart from her proven professionalism, she is a charming person with good organizational skills and a wide network of people on whom I was able to call when this or that needed to be done to the house."…More Less

While we did not deal with Maureen directly, she is half of the office with her husband Ed.
Ed spent hours and days over a six-month period while we searched for a home on Bainbridge Island. We were consolidated our homes in Seattle and So. California into a new house and professional help was a must. Ed was always available and when we finally found the 'perfec' one' he continued walking us through the purchase and inspection process. There was never any pressure only good solid direction and advice and he was there or available for every appointment or meeting if we requested him. In addition he had a good resource list of recommended trades to help us as we settled in over the weeks following move in.
He and Maureen are long time agents and residents of Bainbridge and have a wonderful business with a competent staff to assist.
