Bought a home in 2008.
We've worked with Max Goodwin a few times to buy our first house, then sell it a few years later in a challenging environment, and buy another house. We went back to him for each of our real estate transaction because he delivered impeccable service, and genuine expertise on the area. Max is one of the very best - i have been dealing with real estate agents for 35 years and he is the best.
Trusted by all in the area, honest and a gentleman to the tips of his fingers.
He knows the area and almost every house that is available.
he knows the background of the sellers and qualifies his buyers well.
there are many real estate agents in our area and i am friends with some of them but this is who i would use every time.

Bought a home in 2003.
Max Goodwin was instrumental in our search for a house. We spent 5 years renting, while on the look for one that met all of our criteria.
While we were searching, Max put a great deal of thought into selecting and showing us examples of what was available-- a process of helping us learn the area rather than selling something that "almost fit." Finally, he found a house that truly suited us. The owner was living abroad and not quite ready to sell, but over the course of many months Max patiently helped realize a sale on terms that were a win-win for both parties. As a result of his patience, insight and thoroughness, he guided us into a home that remains exactly what we were looking for.

Found a tenant for a home.
Max Goodwin is the best real estate broker in Dutchess County. He helped me find and purchase my home, rented it out for me for a number of summers when I was away, and has been an incredibly helpful resource in many real estate related matters post closing. In addition to having an unsurpassed knowledge of the area, Max is personable, highly intelligent and always available to help. I give him my highest recommendation without reservation.
