Bought a home in 2013.
Over the last few decades, we have bought and sold homes from small condos. to large single family homes in St. Louis, Chicago and its northern suburbs, Winston-Salem and recently, DC., and have been exposed to many different real estate professionals and market conditions. Maynard is excellent. Professionalism defines him (knowledgeable, insightful, good strategist in negotiation, a problem solver, listens well, very responsive). He worked with us in our purchase in Seattle, an area we knew little about. We looked at single family homes and townhomes in Capitol Hill, Ballard, Maple Leaf and Green Lake. He did a superb job in helping us find exactly the type of property we were looking for and implementing the right negotition strategy for the market. I recommend him very highly. Stil in process of finding the right property, but we are most impressed with Maynard's professionalism, communication skills, expertise and conmitment to task. Have no experience yet with his negotiation skills but I'm confident that he will but fabulous at that, as well. After reading Zillow reviews we decided to contact Maynard. He was very responsive and flexible throughout the process. He met with us, in some cases at a moment's notice, to look at listings. After viewing several properties (condos, town homes, and houses), Maynard was able to help us narrow down our search.
When we discovered the perfect home in Bellevue Maynard quickly guided us through the offer procedures. Upon learning that another buyer's offer had been chosen that same day, Maynard recommended we put in a back up offer. The first buyer's offer fell through, and we ultimately closed on the home.
Maynard made the closing process easy and straightforward. He coordinated inspections and negotiated that the seller fix some of the issues that were found.
We would highly recommend Maynard to anyone looking to buy a home. Our experience with him was wonderful. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and very effective when it comes time to make an offer/close.
