Hi and thanks for visiting. As one of the top-producing real estate brokers in the area, I'd love the opportunity to work with you to help you achieve your real estate goals.

Washington has been my home for over 25 years. I attended the University of Washington and graduated with my undergraduate degree in business in 1995.  I later received my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the UW as well. Prior to working in real estate, I was a senior manager at a Big 4 Accounting Firm followed by 6 years as a senior executive at a major national bank.

When I'm not busy helping people buy and sell real estate in the city I love, I enjoy traveling, golfing, socializing with a diverse group of friends, and having fun with my 14 year old daughter, Isabella. As a long-time resident of the area, I specialize in serving the greater Seattle and East Side markets.

      Bought a home in 2014.
      We found Maynard through Zillow about 6 months before purchasing our first home, but after going to a couple open houses and meeting a few other local real estate agents. The thing that first stood out to us about Maynard was that he had great listening skills. He paid close attention to the details and genuinely wanted to learn what we were looking for. This was refreshing because other agents we had talked with thought they knew what we were looking for better than we did. As a result, Maynard was able to quickly provide us with a list of potential new homes for us to look at. We were impressed with his ability to tailor his list of open homes on the market to our needs and liked the selection he put in front of us. The search for a new home dragged on for several reasons... First, because we constantly changed what we were looking for (we went from searching for craftsman homes in Queen Anne to condos downtown and finally to modern town homes almost anywhere near the city). Maynard remained very patient with us throughout the entire process and we never once had the feeling that we were wasting his time (despite the numerous weekends we spent with him). This was much appreciated and helped my wife and I feel more at ease throughout the process. We never felt rushed to make a decision and could always count on Maynard to give us a practical opinion (which is where I think his former life as a CPA and MBA background sets him apart). When we finally found the town home of our dreams on Zillow, it was 9pm on a Sunday and we were headed back into Seattle after a weekend in Canada. We called Maynard, and although we knew it was a long shot, we asked him to show it to us that same evening. He was able to show it to us, we loved it, and as a result we were able to get an offer in the next morning. Throughout the post-offer acceptance process, Maynard was a great resource to walk us through everything we needed to do to bring the purchase to a close. He had great recommendations of bankers to talk to and was a good resource when any contract-related questions came up. Thanks to Maynard's management of the entire process, we found the home buying process much less stressful than others we have talked to that used other agents. If we are to sell our home or buy another home in the future, we will definitely seek out Maynard's help.  MoreLess

      Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $575K in Wedgwood, Seattle, WA.
      We worked with Maynard on both the sale and purchase of our homes. From the very start, we were very impressed with Maynard's professionalism and knowledge of the market. We were embarking on our 1st sale and he helped us become very at ease with the process. When Maynard was not available he ensured we had assistance through an associate who was very capable in assisting. He effectively marketed our place and ensured it was ready for sale by adding little notes on the walls about details of our home. Our condo sold in 2 weeks for a price we were very comfortable with and we quickly switched to focusing on our hopeful purchase.

      We were very active in using sites like Zillow and Redfin to find and go to open houses throughout our process. Maynard was always willing and able to show us houses in different neighborhoods when there may not have been open houses available. He allowed us the time to make our own decisions, but being available to assist with questions and guidance as needed. When we finally found the home we were interested in, Maynard was unfortunately out of town. However, he prepared both his associate and us for his departure and the offer and subsequent purchase of our house went through without a hitch. We were in a multiple offer situation but everything worked out in the end for us because of their guidance.

      In the end, we were able to simultaneously close both the sale and purchase on the same day which was a dream scenario for us. We were extremely pleased with the entire process and will continue to use Maynard for future purchases and sales. We would not hesitate to recommend Maynard!

      Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $325K in Ballard, Seattle, WA.
      Complicated sale. He remained very attentive and focused throughout the ordeal, which gave us confidence in the entire process. We would certainly seek his service again.
