Washington has been my home for over 25 years. I attended the University of Washington and graduated with my undergraduate degree in business in 1995.  I later received my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the UW as well. Prior to working in real estate, I was a senior manager at a Big 4 Accounting Firm followed by 6 years as a senior executive at a major national bank.

When I'm not busy helping people buy and sell real estate in the city I love, I enjoy traveling, golfing, socializing with a diverse group of friends, and having fun with my 14 year old daughter, Isabella. As a long-time resident of the area, I specialize in serving the greater Seattle and East Side markets.

I think I've dealt with 2-3 Maynard clones during the process of getting to grips with the real estate market, scouting condos and eventually buying one - his availability levels are crazy. He is always around, helping me through a myriad of questions/issues. I was a first time buyer. He helped me learn the ropes and helped me navigate complex issues (I changed jobs after getting the offer accepted) and difficult people. He recommended an excellent lender and inspector. I learned to trust a 100% anything and everything he had to say. My biggest compliment to his work would be that I would like to be as good at my job as he is at his. Even after closing and after our formal relationship has concluded, I still keep in touch. He's more of a "very informed friend" in your corner vs a real estate agent out to profit from you.

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $950K in East Queen Anne, Seattle, WA.

Our first interactions with Maynard were before we relocated from Melbourne, Australia to Seattle. He was very responsive and extremely helpful in answering our questions and starting to educate us about the Seattle housing market before we arrived.

What particularly impressed us about Maynard was that he took the time to really listen to us to understand what our needs were and ideally what we were looking for. Maynard is very experienced and truly understands the real estate market in Seattle. Being new to Seattle, he educated us about the types of housing options available (and values) and showed us a range of properties to help inform us and to develop our understanding of the possibilities available to us. Maynard is a good communicator and was very responsive to our queries and needs during the purchase process. He has also taken the time to follow up with us after moving in to our new home and point us in the right direction with our questions about services, tradespeople and generally how things work in Seattle. Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $1.125M in Portage Bay, Seattle, WA.

Maynard did an amazing job preparing my house for sale, detailing the process, marketing the house prior to sale and then handling the negotiation. I had neighbors telling me "I have never seen that much traffic or buzz around an open house before." His advice and expertise certainly was helpful in maximizing our price and it really felt like our realtor earned his money.  More Less
