Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $150K in Cincinnati, OH.Summary:
Mike was very thorough and his experience made the process of buying and selling go very smoothly. He was available every time we wanted to view a house and he completely understood what we were looking for in a house. All his suggestions were right in line with what we wanted and we never felt we were wasting our time.
We ran into a few problems with selling our house because of the buyers having issues with their lending. Mike was in constant contact with us to keep us updated with every conversation he had with the buyer's agent and to keep us informed throughout the process. He gave us sound advice on what we should or shouldn't accept depending on what was going to happen. Basically, since buying and selling a house can get very stressful/emotional, he did a great job making sure we made logical decisions. His experience came in very handy at this point as he was able to bring up other options to negotiate, or ask for, before we ever thought of them.
On the side of us buying, he was also extremely helpful. He knew how much we wanted to get the house we ended up buying but kept us from "over-paying" for it. My wife and I had talked about what we thought the initial offer should be before we asked Mike what he thought. His suggestion was well under what we were thinking but we went with what he said and they accepted the offer almost immediately. It was another example of his experience really helping us out.

Mike was very professional and responsive, he was excellent at helping us find the right neighborhood and home. It was especially nice that he has experience in fixing up older homes and was very willing to share his frank opinion on the quality of a homes refurbishment, or the difficulty/price involved in fixing something. It gave me a lot of peace of mind to have that resource while looking at homes, as a first time homeowner I had no idea what to look for.
