I am a hardworking and enthusiastic guy originally from New York. My father is a contractor and I worked alongside him for much of my youth, learning the trade of building homes. This early experience has proved invaluable in my work as a Real Estate Agent, giving me a thorough understanding of what is entailed when remodeling, repairing, estimating, building, and maintaining a home. As a young man I was drawn to the beautiful Pacific Northwest by the exciting and challenging work of commercial fishing. While working as a fisherman I began to invest my earnings in fixer-upper homes and apartment buildings and found myself intrigued by the possibilities of a livelihood involving Real Estate.  After 12 years of Commercial Fishing and 4 Years as a Captain, I decided to make my move into Real Estate.  Although commercial fishing was a very different career path I have found that it prepared me well for my career as a Real Estate Broker. Both lines of work require a lot of hard work, honesty, communication, and creative thinking. On top of these skills I work consistently at staying on top of emerging industry trends and marketing tools. I believe that to be successful these days it is critical to have a solid grasp of the technologies that today''''s buyers and sellers are using. I am also extremely diligent in my market research, staying up to the minute on the latest in pricing and availability in our area.

As an experienced Realtor and investor I love my work and in today''''s market the demand for the very best representation is essential.  My number one priority is to represent your best interest.  Period!  I listen to your needs and desires with an open mind and then come up with a game plan.  I am very thorough in my research, due diligence, solid negotiations, attention to contract detail and professional communications. I feel it is vital to keep you informed along the way whether you live here on the island already or clear across the country.  I have sound morals, believe everyone deserves respect, and I take great pride in all of my work.   I live and work on Bainbridge Island where I share a home and life with my wonderful wife, our two darling daughters, one feisty Cairn Terrier, and a sassy, fluffy old kitty cat!

Bought a home in 2015 in Bainbridge Island, WA.

Not just knowledgeable, hard working, patient and more, Mercury is - as his name implies - a stellar fellow. He is the one you want in your lifeboat. I always felt he truly cared about our being happy with the purchase we made. He could have sold us a more expensive property with three times the commission but that was not his intent.  More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Bainbridge Island, WA.

Mercury and his team did an amazing job helping us sell our Bainbridge house. We needed to do a lot of work before listing; Mercury had knowledge of what needed to be done, how to do it and who to call to get it done. He pretty much held our hand through the whole process. His contractors, his stager and of course Vicki, were great to work with. When it came time to market the house he was right on the ball, navigating us through sticky inspections, buyers and everything else to sell it quickly in a tough market. This man is a fantastic agent, we were lucky to have him on our side.  More Less
