Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $450K in River North, Chicago, IL.
Karen is very knowledgable in her local market in the Northwest Suburbs but also in the city of Chicago. She helped me find a short sale in Arlington Heights and also a condo in River North Chicago. It took me over a year and 30-40 viewings to find my condo, indicating that she's very patient. She did a great job of sending me listings that met my criteria to look through before viewing as I looked at thousands of properties online over the last couple years. She's a savy negotiator and is always looking out for your best interest. In my last purchase I was fine with our negotiated price but she took it a step further and got another $5k off of closing costs. She paid for herself in the transaction. Karen was a pleasure to work with. Beyond her amazing responsiveness and great referrals, she always had my back. Throughout the house hunting process I encountered disappointments, deals that fell through, a variety of frustrations along with some crazy antics and unethical dealings by other realtors.
Karen skillfully counseled me, acted to ensure I was protected and comfortable at every phase along my journey. And when I had second thoughts about a property I liked, but didn't love, she made sure I understood it was okay to walk away because the goal was for me to be happy.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $225K in Arlington Heights, IL.
Karen was amazing. I know that realtors have a bed reputation sometimes, so of course my boyfriend and I were hesitant. Karen defied all of those stereotypes by always negotiating our lowest bid (even if deep down she knew it would not be excepted), bringing us to see houses that were out of our price range just because we wanted to see them, and never pressuring us. She was nearly always available for showings and if not, she made something work with OUR schedule. I could tell she really loves what she does for a living which made the experience enjoyable.
