Ratings & Reviews

When my wife and I started the process of looking for our first home ownership we hired Michael immediately because he is my wife's brother. We already knew Michael was a naturally gifted gregarious person, the type who would be talking to everyone in a section at Petco before the game was over with mutual enjoyment. We also knew that after becoming a real estate agent Michael was doing very well for himself, confirmation that his decision to leave route sales was justified. What we did not know is how utterly professional Michael is his dealings of real estate. After looking for 3 weeks without seeing anything of interest we made an appointment to see a home based on pictures in the MLS. We quickly discovered the reality of the house was even better than the pictures. As soon as we walked out of the house Michael made an offer. We were the fifth offer on the house that Sunday, but fortunately after a short bidding war our offer was accepted and we opened escrow. The first obstacle in escrow was an appraisal review that was $35K under the first appraisal. That first appraisal was only a thousand over our winning bid for the house. We adjusted our offer, which was accepted by the sellers. For five weeks there were constant delays to the escrow from the sellers and their agent. The seller’s agent did not help with our comfort level since he was anything but forthcoming about the delays. By the end of the fourth week we were ready to cancel escrow. Michael was the rock in the torrent of this entire transaction which had become an ordeal, utterly unphased by the "sticky" dealings of the seller’s agent. Best of all, Michael was able to calmly rekindle our excitement for the home when we were angry at the sellers and their agent and wanted to walk on the deal. Michael's professionalism also extended to the consultants he suggested we use. On our side of the escrow everyone involved in the process was great, doing what they said they would do when they said they would do it, even under the expedited timing requests of the sellers. I am very stingy about recommending people to others for professional services. Michael Salois will not disappoint you, professionally, ethically, or morally. Real estate transactions are fraught with the potential to become an ordeal. Having Michael as your agent will make the experience as pleasant as it can be.

Sold a Townhouse home in 2015 for approximately $500K in University City, San Diego, CA.

I want to express my sincere thanks for the incredible "miracle" Mitchell Carson's Team performed regarding the sale of my home. When James Jessie first found me on Zillow and pitched his sales plan that he could get me more than my listed price in 3 weeks, I thought it was a scam. The unconventional process of listing a house very low and bidding up seemed impossible to achieve the final desired price. My real estate friends and sister cautioned me against it. The process seemed a bit concerning. But it sounded so logical to me that I had to give it a try. Like James said "What do I have to lose except 3 weeks". Well, I must congratulate the entire Team for the excellent role they all performed in achieving the "impossible" goal. I now realize that God had his hand in this and brought you to me. Selling my home was one of the last steps in my retirement plan. Not only did your Team find a cash buyer (Thank you Michael Salois, you are my HERO :) but you did it within 2-1/2 weeks with a very quick closing. And you got me a sales price higher than I could have imagined. James Jessie - you are an excellent sales person and I thank you for your straight forward honesty and humor. Jason Schwager - your follow up on paperwork and guiding me through the entire process was very professional and efficient. You were always available to my calls and inquiries even after hours. Michael Salois - you worked your buns off and you were immediately responsive to all of the required action. Dana Queen and Steve Fagerwold - you were patient and kind with helping me through the escrow and title paperwork. Your office staff is great and your office is so special - modern décor - I really enjoyed the visit when I picked up the closing docs and check. So here is a BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF YOU!!!!! You're the BEST :). I am recommending your entire Team to people interested in buying or selling their homes. God Bless You All. Carol Ray (p.s. Thanks for putting up with my "attitude" at times. I learned from this experience that buying and selling a home and property can be emotional. As James Jessie said to me several times "Relax, have a little fun with this, let us do the work". Next time I will relax knowing I'm in good hands).  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $500K in El Cajon, CA.

I think we were one of Mike's longest clients. But he hung in there and we found the best house for our family. He is dependable and hard working. I liked the fact that when I called him he picked up the phone and rarely let it go to voice mail. The process of buying a house can be a very tedious one but Mike helped to make the process go as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend him if you are thinking of buying or selling.  More Less
