Ratings & Reviews

When my wife and I started the process of looking for our first home ownership we hired Michael immediately because he is my wife's brother. We already knew Michael was a naturally gifted gregarious person, the type who would be talking to everyone in a section at Petco before the game was over with mutual enjoyment. We also knew that after becoming a real estate agent Michael was doing very well for himself, confirmation that his decision to leave route sales was justified. What we did not know is how utterly professional Michael is his dealings of real estate. After looking for 3 weeks without seeing anything of interest we made an appointment to see a home based on pictures in the MLS. We quickly discovered the reality of the house was even better than the pictures. As soon as we walked out of the house Michael made an offer. We were the fifth offer on the house that Sunday, but fortunately after a short bidding war our offer was accepted and we opened escrow. The first obstacle in escrow was an appraisal review that was $35K under the first appraisal. That first appraisal was only a thousand over our winning bid for the house. We adjusted our offer, which was accepted by the sellers. For five weeks there were constant delays to the escrow from the sellers and their agent. The seller’s agent did not help with our comfort level since he was anything but forthcoming about the delays. By the end of the fourth week we were ready to cancel escrow. Michael was the rock in the torrent of this entire transaction which had become an ordeal, utterly unphased by the "sticky" dealings of the seller’s agent. Best of all, Michael was able to calmly rekindle our excitement for the home when we were angry at the sellers and their agent and wanted to walk on the deal. Michael's professionalism also extended to the consultants he suggested we use. On our side of the escrow everyone involved in the process was great, doing what they said they would do when they said they would do it, even under the expedited timing requests of the sellers. I am very stingy about recommending people to others for professional services. Michael Salois will not disappoint you, professionally, ethically, or morally. Real estate transactions are fraught with the potential to become an ordeal. Having Michael as your agent will make the experience as pleasant as it can be.

Sold a Townhouse home in 2015 for approximately $500K in University City, San Diego, CA.

I want to express my sincere thanks for the incredible "miracle" Mitchell Carson's Team performed regarding the sale of my home. When James Jessie first found me on Zillow and pitched his sales plan that he could get me more than my listed price in 3 weeks, I thought it was a scam. The unconventional process of listing a house very low and bidding up seemed impossible to achieve the final desired price. My real estate friends and sister cautioned me against it. The process seemed a bit concerning. But it sounded so logical to me that I had to give it a try. Like James said "What do I have to lose except 3 weeks". Well, I must congratulate the entire Team for the excellent role they all performed in achieving the "impossible" goal. I now realize that God had his hand in this and brought you to me. Selling my home was one of the last steps in my retirement plan. Not only did your Team find a cash buyer (Thank you Michael Salois, you are my HERO :) but you did it within 2-1/2 weeks with a very quick closing. And you got me a sales price higher than I could have imagined. James Jessie - you are an excellent sales person and I thank you for your straight forward honesty and humor. Jason Schwager - your follow up on paperwork and guiding me through the entire process was very professional and efficient. You were always available to my calls and inquiries even after hours. Michael Salois - you worked your buns off and you were immediately responsive to all of the required action. Dana Queen and Steve Fagerwold - you were patient and kind with helping me through the escrow and title paperwork. Your office staff is great and your office is so special - modern décor - I really enjoyed the visit when I picked up the closing docs and check. So here is a BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF YOU!!!!! You're the BEST :). I am recommending your entire Team to people interested in buying or selling their homes. God Bless You All. Carol Ray (p.s. Thanks for putting up with my "attitude" at times. I learned from this experience that buying and selling a home and property can be emotional. As James Jessie said to me several times "Relax, have a little fun with this, let us do the work". Next time I will relax knowing I'm in good hands).

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $500K in El Cajon, CA.

I think we were one of Mike's longest clients. But he hung in there and we found the best house for our family. He is dependable and hard working. I liked the fact that when I called him he picked up the phone and rarely let it go to voice mail. The process of buying a house can be a very tedious one but Mike helped to make the process go as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend him if you are thinking of buying or selling.

Mike is also willing to drop what he's doing to help his clients. Whether its 6am on a Sunday or 10pm on a Wednesday night, he is always available. Mike is also very personable and works well with all the other agents that we dealt with. I have and will continue to recommend Mike to family and friends.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $375K in North Park, San Diego, CA.

Mike was great. He was recommended to us from a friend and he was everything we were looking for. We were first time home buyers and he really walked us through every step from lending to knowledge of San Diego areas to the purchase process.

Our schedule is very hectic and Mike was available at different times and days, very flexible fitting into our schedule. He was great at following up with us, and he stayed on top of getting information about any new property we were interested in.

He was also very patient with us as we were narrowing down exactly what we were looking for.

We are very happy with our new home and would like to thank Mike for his help.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $375K in Northwest, Chula Vista, CA.

Mike Salois assisted in purchase of our house in Chula Vista. We looked at upwards of 100 houses over a many month timespan. Mike was always optimistic in the search and eager to help, always showing up with the hard copy of the listing information . He never got tired of our inability to decide on the right house and was always there when it became time to continue the search. He was very good in dealing with the selling agent and owners. He was always quick to respond on questions about the overall process and about the multiple contract items that were often hard to understand. The most important attribute that Mike showed was that after the sale was completed, after he had gotten his comission, he continued to assist us with problems related to the sellers unfullfilled promises. Mike got no compensation for continuing this effort, but did it because of his character and proffesionalism.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $250K in La Mesa, CA.

Mike was great, he always made himself available and he consistently showed us property that would interest us, not places that were out of our price range. Great guy to work with and definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell!

We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Bostonia, El Cajon, CA 92021

Called him and he sounded great on the phone. Followed up with him through email, he emailed to say he'd get back to me...never did. I even left another voicemail.

Maybe he got great reviews from people with expensive homes; our home was a manufactured one in a park, less than 50k, probably just not worth his while.

Please call me or email me again, I don't remember exactly who you are or what it was you were looking for, it is very rare that I fail to follow up with any of my clients. Give me a call and I will work on helping you find a place. Thanks Michael 619-417-1954

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Alpine, CA.

Michael represented us extremely well and because of him, my wife and I are HAPPY HOMEOWNERS! Michael goes out of his way to ensure smooth negotiations, transaction and communicate extremely well. My wife and I remember the first day we met, previous agent we had kept becoming a NO SHOW and my lender recommended Michael who was working out at the gym when he got the call that I needed an agent. 20 minutes later we met Michael for the first time coming straight from the gym. PROFESSIONAL he is.

Thanks Michael and you will be referred to any of my friends who look or sell a house in the future.
