I grew up in the mountains of Virginia where being outdoors was the way of life. I went to Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, were I played Baseball and studied Liberal Arts. I continued to reside in the area after college, working in Fairfax, VA. While living in the valley gave me the opportunity to still enjoy the outdoors. Which is a great thing, when if you have ever drove around the D.C. area you end up spending most of my time in the car stuck in traffic. While in the Northern Virginia area I work as a district manager before I found a love for remodeling homes. After several years working for others I went into business. I relocated to SW Virginia to continue building and remolding homes in the mountains. Where I met my wife, Stacy.
Coming to the Outer Banks on Vacation was a family tradition as it is with many. Realizing we are spending as much time here as we were in the mountains we decided to move. Upon arrival to the Outer Banks, I made a smooth transition by working for one of the premier builders on the Outer Banks. Building here is unlike any other, with unpredictable weather, salt air, and desire for the best in coastal living the building standards are high. Through the relationships formed in the rental, service, and design industries the transition to realtor was easy. With my knowledge of construction and codes for the Outer Banks and NC, I feel capable in guiding buyers to a well built home. I like providing the same service that I would expect. Building friendships, not just agent/client relationships.
