Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $625K in Fairfax, VA.
Michele (and her team) is FABULOUS! When we first put our house on the market (in a not so great economy) I didn't understand it when she said that "especially in this market, the realtor can be the biggest difference." After she helped us sell our house - in just 2 days - I thought all our work was done. However, there ended up being 3 deals linked together all of which had to go through in order for each of us to get the house we wanted (if the house we were trying to buy fell through in the negotiations, then our contract was void, and then theirs would fall through, etc.). The seller said they had gotten a better offer from someone else but preferred to work with Michele (since she was successful at keeping the deals together) if we could match the other offer (which we did). There were of course multiple more hoops to jump through which Michele helped us navigate successfully....and then the rest is history. I should also mention that Michele's additional expertise and services were what put us in the best position to sell the house as quickly as we did. With two small kids, the stress that saved us to sell quickly was phenomenal. Michele also knew the area so well that when I laid out my criteria (x minute commute, near grandparents, etc.) she gave me specific streets as boundaries to target a realistic area where I could enjoy a bigger house and not curse my commute. Michele also helped us rent a townhome for a few years, and then sell it some time later. Again, she worked hard to ensure the sale went smoothly, acting with poise and nerves of steel in negotiating with the buyers' agent.
