      Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $400K in North Juanita, Kirkland, WA.
      Mike has consistently found the very best homes on the eastside for myself and my family members.       Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $800K in North Bellevue, Bellevue, WA.

      Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $750K in Redmond, WA.
      Unlike other real estate agents who just wanted to list our home on the MLS and sell it as it was, Mike Chaffee took a good look at every room of our 27 year-old home and the layout of its design. Mike pointed out that a similar (about the exact same sq.footage) house to ours In our same development (GrassLawn Estates) was recently sold for for the highest price ($732,000) in an All-Cash deal (I.e., the buyers did not require an appraisal as there was no bank mortgage needed) and that the value of houses in our development at that time, as estimated by Zillow was in the range do $680,000 to $688,000. The sellers of that home had completely renovated it With a new kitchen (with all white cabinets), two new garage doors, remodeled bathrooms, all new windows, new furnace, etc. The rumors among our neighborhood was that they had put in upwards of $80,000 (for months we watched the trucks of different companies renovate different parts of that house).

      Mike suggested that with targeted renovations that would cost a fraction of what our neighbor had spent on their renovation, and with the staging flow, he believed that might have a chance to get close to the $732,000. Our renovations came to about $8,000, we settled to list our home for $729,000 and we sold it for $744,000 (an-All-Cash transaction that did not require an Appraisal) our 27-year-old kitchen cabinets, our original 27-year-old windows, our original 27-year-old furnace, and our original 27-year-old carpets and hardwood floors (which we kept immaculately clean) on the ground floor.

      Mike Chaffee has given us the biggest Bang for our Buck!
