    Before I put my house on the market, I paid a lot of attention to for sale signs in my neighborhood. Mikes signs showed more sold than any other agent. He is a full time agent, not just selling real estate on the side, and that was important to me. I had an offer shortly after my house went on the market which fell through, and then another offer not long after. That also fell through, but in the end, that buyer came back and bought the house. ___________________________________________________________________ The reason I am giving Mike four stars instead of five is that my yard was deep with leaves (this was in the spring) and he suggested that I not worry about that and leave it as it was. He also said not to bother painting my kitchen/dining room area, even though the area really needed it. I ignored both bits of advice and I think it made a difference as the house showed much better. He also wanted to list it as 10K less than I wanted to start at and I wonder if there isn't a tendency to maybe price homes a little lower to make a faster sale. In the end, the house sold half way between where I wanted to list and he did. I was pleased, but would have been out a whole lot more money if we had started at the price he thought we should list at. Paint doesn't cost much, having someone rake your leaves and haul them away doesn't cost much either, but these things can pay off. ___________________________________________________________________ All in all, I would use Mike again. He is efficient and knows his stuff.

    Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $125K in Traverse City, MI.
