Mike was so pleasant to work with when buying our first home. He made the process really comfortable and easy, and truly listened to our needs and wants as first-time home buyers. He has great knowledge in the housing market, and we were very impressed with his communication skills. He, not only communicated well with us as his clients, but when it came to negotiations as well.
He was also patient, and respectful to out specific needs. He never compared us to other clients, and made us feel very unique which we appreciated. We were not just another "client". He really took the time and energy needed to educate, assist, and develop our knowledge in the housing market.
We did interview about 4-5 other realtors before choosing to work with Mike. We did our research and went with someone we felt made a good connection with us, and understood what we wanted, not just needed. Mike is great! We would recommend him to anyone we know who is looking to buy, or sell their home, or both!…More Less

Michael is the best real estate agent I have ever dealt with, bar none. To start, he is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. My wife and I started working with Michael after the first few real estate agents we met with were pushy or rude, and he immediately made us feel more comfortable about the process of buying a new home. He never tried to talk us into looking at houses above the price range we gave him, unlike some of the other agents we talked to. He quickly responded to all of our requests to arrange showings. He also got back to us right away whenever we had a question. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local real estate market and gave us some great advice about construction-related issues regarding the houses we looked at. Once we found the house we wanted, Michael helped us negotiate a great price. He also helped us through the closing process and provided much-needed guidance about securing the necessary insurance at a good rate. Whenever we had a question, we knew we could count on Michael to help us find the answer. I strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an agent in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.…More Less

About Michael Gross
Add personality to your profile! Tell the community about yourself, your home, and your profession.
I have the honor of being ranked in the top 5% of Realtors in MN for the number of annual sales! I attribute my success to my "client first" philosophy. That is to say, I put the concerns of my clients before "just making a sale." Contrary to what you might see on HGTV, not all realtors are pushy salespeople. Instead I bring my expertise to your home search, and together we find the right place. If you're selling your home, I will listen to all your needs, communicate with you every step of the way, and get you the highest price possible for your home.
As the son of a realtor, I've been familiar with the industry since I was in elementary school. I decided to make real estate my career in 2001, my senior year of college, and I started working for ReMax at that time. Since then I've sold hundreds of homes in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. I am not just a salesperson; I'm also a broker. This means my experience and education have reached the highest level in the industry.
My primary focus is the Minneapolis market and surrounding areas. I lived in a downtown high rise for three years and served on its association board. If you have a question about a condo in Mpls, I'm your man. I currently live in a house in Mpls, and I understand the housing market through and through. I also focus on real estate investment and, in addition to owning my own rental properties, I help investors find and manage the best rental real estate.
In summary, striving for customer satisfaction is my primary aim. I help sellers get the best possible price for their home with the least amount of anxiety and trouble in the process. I also help buyers find their perfect dream home and negotiate the best possible price. Whether I'm working with sellers or buyers, I take pride in my commitment to excellent service. Send me an email, and I'll be proud to work hard for you.

One of his key strengths that really struck me was his intuitive sense of what we, as clients, needed from him and his ability to taylor his approach to best suit our needs. He could be very straight and to the point with me (which I appreciated), and he could also communicate in a different, more intuitive and emotional way with my wife. Because of this, we both always felt as thought we were both involved with everything. We never felt as though one of our needs or input was more important than the other.
Also, I have to note something here about his market knowledge. I won't get into any specifics here, but we were absolutely shocked (in a good way) when we heard our final price. We had expected that we would have paid at least 10k more than we did. We still feel as though we got a fantastic deal on our house!
I would be very confident in recommending Mike to anyone.…More Less
