Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $175K in Vallejo, CA.
Mischa was without a doubt professional. She exhibited a confidence in her ability to deal with the particulars of my specific property. She was readily available when I needed her expertise and gave me clear options whenever there were choices to be made. During the entire process she was working for my best interests. Overall I felt like she was the adult in the room. I would recommend her to anyone who needs an effective realtor.
The easiest part about buying our first home was finding a great agent. The rest was often complicated, but Mischa masterfully helped us navigate the process. She was patient with all of our questions as we had no experience with the home buying process. She explained many things multiple times in different ways for me when it hadn't quite sunk in. She listened carefully to our ideas, concerns, and hopes, and helped us clarify our own understanding of what we were looking for and what was available. She explained the ramifications and options of each decision we faced. She expertly encouraged, guided, and explained, but always gave us the space to make our own informed decisions. She went to great lengths to educate us on the market and important things to look for in a home.
Mischa is a professional of rare quality. She strikes the perfect balance between warm human interaction and handling business. It helps that we got along with her very well from day one. On the business end, she's extremely knowledgeable, insightful, strategic, and when it comes to negotiation she does not mess around. She respectfully plays hardball whenever it is required. She knows the East Bay market intimately, and has refreshingly helpful insight on socio-economic conditions and the perception/reality of "safety."
Once we were in contract, we had several major bumps in the road that we could not have overcome without her. It literally felt like we were Mischa's only clients, though I know she had a busy schedule. She was was always very responsive and never left us hanging.
In sum: Mischa is excellent at what she does and a joy to work with. I highly recommend her.
Mischa was recommended to me by my loan officer. I was a first time homebuyer and really didn't know what to expect.. From my very first meeting with Mischa, one of the things she asked me is "what do you want from me as your agent?" Because I was new at this home buying experience, I was looking for someone that would be extremely patient with me, and not get agitated by the many questions I would undoubtedly ask, I wanted to feel 100% comfortable with my agent. I explained this to Mischa, and she delivered. She answered all of my questions, explained in detail how our relationship (homebuyer & agent) would work. After meeting with her, I knew she was the right agent for me.
Because my budget was not that vast, I had to make some concessions, Mischa explained this to me, and showed me properties that fit my criteria. We searched for a few weeks and happened upon a property that I loved, and it was in my price range. Yay! Once Mischa was sure this was the property I wanted, she worked diligently to seal the deal. She is good at what she does, now I won't say that everything was smooth, because was after all a homebuying process in a extremely competitive market.
In the end, Mishca worked her magic and I got the property I wanted, and I absolutely love it. If you're looking for an agent who puts the needs of her client before all else, I highly recommend Mischa.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $475K in Santa Rosa, CA.
AWESOME! I wouldn't trust just anybody dealing with the financial well being of my family but I trust Mischa without reservation. I have known her most of my life and I have always known her to be brilliant, honest, and one of the hardest working people I've ever met. That made her the obvious choice when we were searching for a new home. Additionally, every person who I spoke with that worked for or with her, held her in the highest regard. I cannot give her enough compliment or praise. If you choose to work with Mischa, during those "stressful" moments that are bound to pop up when buying or selling a house in the bay, you can rest easy that she is doing everything she can for to close the deal for you!
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.05M in Walnut Creek, CA.
Very accommodating, thorough, friendly and at the same time professional. She is patient, and went out of her way to work with me and my family who has different proprieties. Once the sale is over, she continues to respond to questions we asked her and made sure that we are satisfied with the information given. She was recommended to us by a friend and we won't hesitate to recommend her if the question comes up.
We simply could not have been luckier than connecting with Mischa to represent us with our home purchase.
It doesn't take much to notice the trend with Mischa's ratings. And there's a reason. Mischa refers to herself as a 'full-service' agent, and she is. But she is so, so much more than that. She is a complete package!
Packed with volumes of historical, technical, and emotional knowledge and expertise about many different local housing areas, Mischa has a way of turning the often arduous and frustrating home-hunting process into an engaging educational exploration! We learned amazing things in our travels around with Mischa! And we definitely became smarter, more aware homebuyers with a great many more considerations in mind when making a buying decision than before we met her!
Her humility is obvious from her non-judgmental attitude, patience, understanding, professionalism, and empathy. But she is not at all meek. She's a hard-nosed, respectful, and pragmatic negotiator. She has an exceptional ability to balance emotions with realities, and really help people drill down, ask important questions, and focus in and define their values and where/if they are willing to make compromises.
Wrap this up with her genuine, sincere, light-hearted personality and her consistent 5-star ratings are no surprise at all.
Mischa worked tirelessly on our behalf to find us a real gem that perfectly suits our values, stage in life, and budget. She followed through, too, by helping us with multiple post-sale items... a total (but welcome) surprise for us, but par for the course for Mischa!
Mischa went above and beyond assisting us in all facets to help us find and secure our new home. I would highly recommend her to help with any home rental or home purchase if you want an experienced, dedicated agent on your side.
Mischa is and was the best part of our first time homebuying process. She is extremely patient, kind, understanding and honest. We met her in January 2013 at an open house in Piedmont, and 10 months later, she's placed us in our beautiful new home in our desired neighborhood! The real estate market this summer was extremely competitive and we kept on getting outbid each and every time we made an offer. Mischa represented us well and really had our concerns top of mind. When things didn't go as planned during the process, Mischa stepped in and took control of the situation. We could always count on her to hold our hands as we went through this journey together.
Words can't express how instrumental Mischa was in buying our first home. She was there each step of the process and always made us feel like we had an overflow of support and care. She went out of her way in so many instances to ensure we were having a positive experience - helping out with dumping during the remodel, running around to various home improvement stores to match our exact paint color, driving us around for hours on Sunday visiting open houses, communicating and negotiating on our behalf with contractors, being there for us during the paperwork signing, etc.
The list of things Mischa did for us goes on and on.
We really can't recommend Mischa enough - she's personal and really cares about her clients. She went above and beyond our expectations. Though we're extremely happy to be in our new home, we're also sad knowing that we won't be able to see Mischa as often!
