Owner -Zillow.com has three sources of geo-points, which determine where a home shows up on the map. For the details about each of our sources and their accuracy, please take a look at this post on the Zillow Blog - http://www.zillowblog.com/of-points-and-parcels/2006/12.If you post a For Sale price: http://www.zillow.com/howto/faq/PostingFAQ.htm#whopost or a Make Me Move price: http://www.zillow.com/howto/faq/PostingFAQ.htm#mmmprice on the home, you'll be given the option to edit the home's location on the map. Please also check on: http://www.zillow.com/postings/Postings.htm. In the future, we hope to enable anyone who has claimed a home to move their home, but the site doesn't have that capability yet.For future reference, you can also ask mapping questions in our new "Zillow Discussions" area of the site - http://www.zillow.com/forum/site/ViewCategory.htm?tcid=13.
Hi Owner,If the address is wrong because it's user created, the site doesn't support changing the address once it is created. Your best solution to this is to create another property with the correct address.Another reason this happens is because we currently display the legal, not postal address on Zillow. You could check with your county assessor whether the property's legal address is possibly incorrect. If not, we unfortunately do not have the capability to correct individual addresses - but we hope to be able to do so in the future and have noted your feedback.
